04/4/2018 14:10 | Aha. Well, I've just got some more at 6p. There's some battle being fought out there. Do I wait for the extra 15% discount, should it come.. | brucie5
04/4/2018 14:06 | Spurious accuracy old boy, a way of saying ten times or more.Maybe a bit lax. But once each delivery is profitable the sheer size of Storage applicability will drive us into a higher fractal . | alchemy
04/4/2018 12:52 | Did anybody note the presence of Adam Whitehead as one of the three keynote speakers at the February conference on energy storage? hxxp://ukenergystora And who should attend? "The conference is aimed at PhD students, early career and senior researchers in Industry, Academia, Research Institutes and Government, both in the UK and internationally." We're being noticed. | brucie5
04/4/2018 12:46 | Alchemy: 78.9 p here we come. -------------------- Where does this figure come from?!! -------------------- "I’m assuming storage of wind derived power is also within our gift." Yes, and given how much wind power the UK has, to store a fraction of it would keep jabil busy for some time. Good old wiki is a rich source of info about UK wind energy. We are 6th in the world, and have more than any other European country, and it's the second greatest renewable source of energy after biomas. However, it is expensive, and since energy companies are compelled by law to include it in their mix, it puts up the cost of household energy overall. So a huge opportunity here, Scott: I wonder how RED's energy analysts will set their sights on making wind energy cheaper for the UK consumer, with utility sacle storage? | brucie5
04/4/2018 12:34 | Yes I'm aware you can't be bullish about sells and buys but that large sell is gone and "in the price".The tidal and solar transfer into base load is phenomenal .(Phenomenon = an unusual and outstanding happening). As Scott says , I paraphrase, food for thought for purchases of nuclear capability.I'm assuming storage of wind derived power is also within our gift.78.9 p here we come. | alchemy
04/4/2018 12:26 | Gosh, did someone just sell over 800k for 5.65? Still looks like a 6p bid price. 04-Apr-18 10:15:19 5.65 802,603 Sell* 5.80 6.00 45.35k O | brucie5

04/4/2018 11:49 | gerryjames 4 Apr '18 - 11:40 - 5681 of 5681 0 0 0 A cash call has stopped me building a larger holding. -------------------- Yup, you and many others, no doubt. Scott will be aware of this, and he has to get the share price up before he can return to the market. But if you look at EDEN, you can see how fickle the market is. Given the prevalence of pis here, it only takes a positive RNS and some good coverage to reverse the story. Of course, aimho. | brucie5
04/4/2018 11:40 | Morning Gents. A cash call has stopped me building a larger holding. I must admit. Hopefully it'll be a soft bank loan at the time. But all the ducks appear to be lining up. These are very tempting prices and through no fault of the Company. That last big project RNS was very very encouraging. Adding faith in the already respected Management and their ambitions. I doubt anyone would get a large piece of this Company at the current valuation. Now what to sell elsewhere? | gerryjames
04/4/2018 10:51 | Battle being fought at the 5.80/6.20 level, as this seems to be the spread. This will be causing some to sell, no doubt, and others to accumulate. I'm half hoping it may go down a bit further, as 5p would take us back to the 2015 mean level, and we're clearly far nearer to profits. That might be an accumulation opportunity of epic proportions! Guns of Marscapone, I love your user name. Do you make tiramisu by any chance? What is it you're waiting for? The breakdown or the break up? I don't mean to be flippant, btw. There are clearly risks here, or we'd be multiples of the price. | brucie5
04/4/2018 10:49 | One small sell and two slightly larger buys and the MMs drop the price - sounds about right! | cheek212
04/4/2018 08:39 | Fortunate? Or its plan is effected? You're so cool though ..I'll give you that. | alchemy
03/4/2018 23:43 | Still watching and observing. A few months yet, if the company is fortunate and lifts off then so be it. | gunsofmarscapone
03/4/2018 22:04 | My spreadsheet says 400. But hey. I think the thought process fits. But fwiw I think the raise will have a higher base than 12.We await the j curve. Gla | alchemy
03/4/2018 20:21 | Yes I added too, a bit more than mere skin in the game overall now. | tonsil
03/4/2018 17:50 | Stable today. I suspect a couple of days more to convince that this is a bottom, if indeed it is. Do peeps currently agree with owenski's projected figure of 340 units needed for b/e? I imagine this figure must at least be penciled in for financial year 18/19, to justify mega projects. Then 10m fundraise at say, 12p, once the size of orders are scented. Maybe schroder will take some more, or a green energy fund. | brucie5
03/4/2018 11:16 | Bought some more at just over 6p. This has a remarkably similar pattern to EDEN where the share price was very recently shooting down to three year lows. A brief buy note in Shares Magazine reminded peeps of the strength of the story, and has in a matter of days sent it back up to touch the 200 ma. Our 200ma is just over 8p, so there could be room for a nice little correction upwards. On balance this looks like time to build a position. However, just in case, I also have some powder dry for 5p. | brucie5

02/4/2018 18:21 | Good summary Brucie. And your next link is really good too.I particularly like your summary re cash. By the time volume backlog is established with a margin on shipment it allows a higher share price ( maybe the famous 22p ) . It also allows for a rise that we, the present holders, can absorb. The order climb this quarter is crucial. 60 working days.GLAH | alchemy

02/4/2018 16:26 | In the meantime I've been trying to get my head round the various presentations and RNSs. At the October presentation, one of the analysts commented that it looked like RED had two years left of cash. I think this gives Scott till Y/E to get the price well up to at least the high teens again, as shareholders will not want to be shelling out again below 8p. This seems well possible to me on some well managed newsflow, not just about orders and sales, but with clarity on the business model of gen 3, which is all about after sales margin. The aim will surely be for substantial utility type order c/o a large project manager, like Centrica, or of course, Atlantis. I notice that Scott has managed to hire two key personnel from Gildemeister, including their heads of research and sales, so hopefully this will be leveraged expertise that will obviate some need to learn the hard way! It begs the question why Gildemeister collapsed, and what lessons there are to be learned there. As I'm sure you know there is a poster on advfn who seems quite informed, and questions the impact of vanadium on REDT's efforts to keep prices down. As you can see, I'm still learning. | brucie5 |
