"Shorting" is causing the share price to drop, to stay the same, not to rise as quickly as it should do, or as high as it should go" - the siren song on every Chat Board I have ever belonged to.

I very much doubt that shorting has anything to do with RedT's current share activity. Professional shorters very rarely short a share as low as this one! Dream up some other excuse as to why it's not performing as you think/wish it should do

Thought same Chicken, could have a shorter in play who thought there was no news in near term pipeline, hopefully that has backfired.

There are some intersting announcements coming soon enough here, market place is expanding rapidly and we appear to be the most active in flow tech that is actually closing commercial sales.

Order book for final stage customer selection is up 11 million since last update, that is significant. If they can secure debt finance it will be a game-changer for this product and open flood gates in similar fashion to what happened with solar.
IMO.

I could be way out here, but, it appears someone's shorting this heavily and selling everything they have in order to cause the share price decline, however, it doesn't seem to be working as the price is holding firm....any ideas what is causing the selling?, Anyone?.

There is lots of new and exciting new coming out every week.This is slowly pushing up the share price at the moment but as the overhang clears the price rise will become more dramatic.I can see this back to 16p and pushing to new heights soon

It is worth remembering that if Atlantis is the chosen project and are claiming 6MW production they will only be looking to smooth out power generation rather than using storage for all of its production and it is likely the storage will be used to cover the periods at full and low tides. The interesting element here is the possibility of growth in the order as the full value of Timeshifting is realised.

Great PR for Redt when it lands properly.

As well as the MeyGen project in Scotland, Atlantis has other tidal stream projects in the pipeline in France, South Korea, Canada and Indonesia with plans to develop a tidal barrage project in the Wyre estuary in the UK and investigating opportunities associated with pumped and battery storage.

Centrica’s LEM team has been working to recruit homes and businesses to take part in the project since its launch in December 2016. It has already carried out energy audits at 56 business sites.

REDT - The project, for which a 0.6MW, 3MWh redT flow machine system has been selected.

Atlantis - In an update on the progress of the MeyGen project, by Atlantis Resources, the company said it had generated 700 megawatt-hours of electricity in August(ie 23 per day). Atlantis expects that phase one of the MeyGen project will reach a full capacity of 6MW by the end of the third-quarter of 2017. Each Atlantis turbine generates 1.5MW
So doesn't seem to match with Atlantis.

I'm not usually one to think about sellers. There always have to be some. But I am wondering why anyone is doing it at less than 8 the last raise price , selling in any volume at least.I haven't been in this long enough to know if original big holders might be showing and obtaining profits after some years.Nor do I think Alchemy partners are likely to have fellow travellers after their solemn undertakings to hold off for a year.Heaven forbid .If another RNS bus happens along tomorrow fine but at some time do we go down on good news? If so bargain hardly covers it. Today , taken with yesterday , was the DBs.
