20/1/2020 15:30 | AA. I won't shoot messenger, but I don't pay attention to third party opinions. A few of the builders are running highs and it crossed my mind to sell, but given 2 years of brexit holding back share price and election now done and new years positivity in both sentiment and busget cycles, I feel to quit now would mean missing out on value earned over a long time. Also, if you sell, buy opportunities in UK shares, other than HB's, seem thin on ground. IMO. :-) Dave | dr_smith
20/1/2020 15:08 | As the share price approaches 800p some may be tempted to see this high point, but remember that the Sunday Times was recently talking about £12.50 as a possible price target. So a long way to go yet, even if it falls short at say £11 - 11,50. | aimingupward2
20/1/2020 15:06 | PP After reading your morning post expecting £8 today, I thought more likely say 10.30 tomorrow. I'm having to yype fast now or it could be there before I reply....neeeearly there... Interesing that the increases are higher than peers and sustained too. Dave | dr_smith
20/1/2020 13:35 | Rumours of stamp duty reform wef 1/3/20 | robertball
20/1/2020 12:55 | What do you mean, Robertball? | aimingupward2
20/1/2020 12:51 | Stamp duty? | robertball
20/1/2020 12:36 | Yes, and that in spite of what must have been a very heavy preponderance of selling early on this morning which has been well absorbed. | aimingupward2
20/1/2020 10:50 | spitting distance from 8 squids. Come on RDW lets see it today. | purplepelmets

14/1/2020 17:37 | Agree. Part of a South African church? ...a bit cryptic...I'll wait. ;-) | dr_smith
14/1/2020 16:45 | Vistry - stupid name, should have stuck with Bovis IMHO - up by a very tasty 3.6% today. House builders back in favour, it seems. | yertiz
14/1/2020 15:16 | We have PSN and VTY/Bovis tomorrow to add to "feel" for builders. | dr_smith
14/1/2020 13:30 | Several building companies have broker upgrades today. Deutsche Bank raises Redrow tp from 704p to 891p. Spurious accuracy; why don't they round it off to 890p? | aimingupward2
14/1/2020 10:02 | Not so much 'good and steady' as 'climbing', I fee! | aimingupward2
09/1/2020 16:57 | And to you aimingupward2. Positive start so far. Good momentum and more to come after Brexit with housebuilding and UK plc infrastructure investment back in favour imho. | yertiz
09/1/2020 13:07 | Happy New Year/decade Yertiz. A promising start here so far. | aimingupward2
24/12/2019 19:00 | Bought in yesterday primarily for the divi returns but seeing a nice little tick up after my purchase and again today is not my usual result. Same goes for Howden. Happy Christmas. | yertiz |
