Yes, indeed. It was over £8 before it was hit really badly by the first Covid lockdown and it’s perfectly reasonable to expect it to be back there in due course.

Does anyone buy Singapore stocks on this discussion board? I've got a Chinese housebuilder called Yanlord Land, listed in Singapore. It's contracted sales are growing 20-30% at a gross margin of over 30%, pays a dividend of 7% and is valued at 3.0x earnings. Cheapest quality housebuilder globally. Thought I'd mention. I'm expecting the dividend to double over the next year or two.

Broker notes from Jefferies, Liberum and Credit Suisse, out this morning, all say BUY Redrow. Target prices range from 640 - 665p.

New levy on HBs just announced to help pay for removing 'cladding' from high buildings.




I think the more important questions you should ask are:

1) if they have any liabilities from the leasehold scandal.
2) The impact from Help to Buy for 2nd homes ending, 31st March, and the new less favourable scheme starting.
3) The impact of Stamp Duty hol ending 31st March.


Help to Buy contributed to the leasehold scandal. There is an ongoing investigation by the CMA into the leasehold scandal where 4 HBs were mentioned.

It’s well tucked away below the financial statement. I expected to find it in the main text. Actually xd is the 26th Feb’, not 25th, but no matter.

Forecasts were:

JP Morgan predicted revenue growth of 21% to £1.05bn, pre-tax profit of £170.0m and a gross margin of almost 21%.

JP Morgan analyst Rajesh Patki forecast an interim dividend of 5p a share. He kept his 'overweight' rating on the shares with a price target of 600p – 12% more than the price before Patki published his note.

"We expect H1 results on Feb 10 to be a positive catalyst (solid results with reinstatement of dividend), resulting in narrowing gap vs. the sector," Patki wrote.
