16/10/2024 10:03 | . It's a race between receipt of the DRC award cash and another placing for at least £250,000, with the deadline for payment of £250,000 for the NBGC/RRAL deal being 18th November. At present I think the placing is slightly the most likely, but it is quite on the cards the DRC cash could be paid in time if the DRC gets a move on. The meeting on the 19th Oct could be a decider. There looks to be more DRC project/s on the cards for RRR if this weekend goes well, although those projects will take many years before production and income so are way in the distance. The question that arises for me is , are the DRC going to say ' if we give you these projects, will you guarantee that you will spend xx Dollars from the arbitration award on developing these projects ' (subject to due diligence of course.) If the DRC and RRR can make a mutually beneficial agreement this weekend, the payment of the Arbitration award could come very quickly. A bit of food for thought / speculation there, but we should know a lot more within a couple of weeks. . | 1waving

15/10/2024 22:41 | Onshore: Ivory Coast and American group Elephant Oil sign three production sharing contracts 01/08/2024 by Redaction Connectionivoirienne Three Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) covering three Onshore oil blocks, namely CI-520, CI-521 and CI-522 located in the Eastern zone of Côte d'Ivoire, were signed on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in Abidjan by the Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, Mamadou Sangafowa-Coulibaly and the CEO of the American group Elephant Oil, Matthew Lofgran. "I do not hide my joy to see that after the many discoveries we have made since then in Offshore (deep waters), this new partnership with Elephant Oil on these three oil blocks in Onshore (dry land), will allow us to resume more effectively the search for hydrocarbons in this part of our sedimentary basin", rejoiced Sangafowa-Coulibaly. Regarding the shares obtained by the Ivorian side, the minister stressed that 52.5% of the profits will be returned to the State of Côte d'Ivoire. Of the remaining 47.5%, 80% will go to Elephant Oil, while 20% will be returned to PETROCI Holding. Matthew Lofgran assured that "in accordance with the law on local content, his company will work to create many jobs as the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, wants." According to the main contractual terms, the American company has three exploration periods with a total duration of seven years. CICG | noirua
15/10/2024 20:34 | A company must publish the results of a poll taken at a General Meeting on their web site (Section 341 of the Companies Act 2006). Technically this would not apply if there was simply a “show of hands” vote so reports of proxy counts would not necessarily need to be published in that way, although most companies do so. | noirua

15/10/2024 13:47 | The draft of the initial meeting should be received shortly and then the question is what can we do to help the people of the Congo? Not deluded at all. We have been invited to a meeting, cannot say with whom, but then we will have the necessary meetings. Sounds clear enough. If we can show that there was a conspiracy then good, it makes our position stronger. Oh goody. Are you meeting with the President or the presidency? No comment. Seems clear enough. We would only use the authority if we do not get the money from Congo, or are about to get it. Seems crystal clear. You have to have your plan B or plan C. We can see why people in the market get nervous. Well no need to because it is not our plan A. Unless it is. 2025 will be our year! Bad commentary ahoy! | kemche
