£71 a share on the day of the MJ acquisition announcement.

One broker has put out a note guessing (that's all it is at this point) $2 billion to £8 billion plus.

In terms of an equity raise, unlikely except under a very worst case outcome - as compensation would be paid out over years.

£2bn is like 4 years profit for the nutrition business. The market cap is down £9bn

This is now considerably cheaper that it was giving no value at all to the nutrition business.

Hope RKT fight this. Absolutely horrific. Supplied millions of units in the formula shortage period.

Keep millions of babies alive in US hospitals each year.

Might as well bankrupt the MJ business the damage 1 judge has done here.

The Barclays' analysts continued: "Appeal chances seem reasonable, £2bn ($2.5bn) settlement looks to be absolute worst case, likely far less.

I just worry that, even though the yanks have their fair share of similar issues, the US courts and their regulators certainly love an opportunity to whip a foreign company when they have a chance (NatWest, BP, to name a couple)
