gbI said the other day I thought there would be some large delayed sales after hours, I was wrong although I believe trades can be delayed for up to 3 days, depending on size.I said it as we've all seen time and time again buys go through but no upward movement then the delayed trades go through and all is explained.I still think that is what is happening here, but who knows!Eventually weight of buys will shift it north.

cpI would have thought it undoubtably does, why wouldn't it? And as boe is barrels of oil equivalent, by definition that includes the gas? That's my take, fwiw.

anyone know if the 140m boe includes the gas?

There was some posters the other day who after an afternoon of mostly medium to large buys was claiming that there would be some large delayed sells after hours ... In fact, at the end of the day there was a LARGE buy announced... And NO delayed sells ..

Cheers sbI agree with what you're saying, but I used the cons £55m figure.Whichever way you cut it RBD is massively undervalued. It doesn't actually need the DL 'ramp', if that's what it is, although his involvement has increased volumes and probably put a rocket up their bscksides to get the updated volumetrics out there.

Stockport - most likely someone in the 0.9p placing who's happy to take a 0.05p turn on their lot

quick glance down and imo there have been 2x 2.5mln and 2x 1mln sells today...so a net 30 mln buys so far

astral,

thanks for the UJO link. I must say I'm not the biggest SPangle fan (having been in AAZ for some time now)...but they are ascribing £75mln to UJO's 16.67% WI so RBD's 39% WI would have a value of £175mln or approx 3p a share here

(and that was based on the reserve estimate in October, not the DL tweeted figure a few days ago)

This bit from the UJO is worth posting. If it's £55m conservative on old cpr report then that's a read across to RBD of about £130m to RBD- and that's on old data, assumes all gas-with no allowance for the other assets-or that it's likely RBD will end up with 50% of WNAnd that still gives an share price double from where we are now!All imo, GLA Our Target Price is conservatively based on the latest third party assessed gas resource (£55.14m net to Union Jack), however given subsequent testing and ongoing, analysis and interpretation of the recently drilled A-2 coring sample, the reservoir is now deemed to be predominantly oil bearing. Assuming a more realistic 60/40 - oil/gas ratio, we infer a valuation closer to £75m net to Union Jack, some 3x the Company's current market capitalisation on this asset alone.Wressle coming onstream would generate

Worth looking at the UJO note for WN valuations, essentially based on what we already know, let alone upgrades, further field potentials. And then there's the US and Romanian assets as well.http://unionjackoil.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/UJO-draft-updated-231019-v3.pdf

No point in getting too technical!LoL!Folks didn't invest @0.9p to get a few measly %, that's probably as far as you need to go!Just mucking about, but whichever you cut it the potential here is massive and that has yet to be reflected in RBD's share price Don't think that situation will last for long.

I wonder if people here understand that rbd controls 39% of WN currently, and the difference between STOIIP and recoverable oip, in making their future valuations?

I think it might just be easier to say WN has massive potential and the share price has got a long way to go to reflect that.At current levels, with £24m raised at 0.9p a decent chunk of risk is out.Hasten to add clearly there are still risks, but this is looking as good a risk/reward proposition as you are going to find in the small cap oil arena. It should move well north of these levels with short and medium term drivers and as we move up I look forwards to debating exactly how high it can go.All imo GLA

iLeeman,

I'm agreeing with astral there - that would be just over $1 per boe whereas yesterday you mentioned an approximate valuation at $10-11 ??

£100m market cap would sound modest for 140mm boe, with the other assets and further potential in the field.Still, it would be a decent start and c.1.5p is not to be sniffed at, for starters anyway! This could be one helluva ride.

Understandable people are cautious of Brokermandan especially in this market but both times he called West Newton 'leaks' correct.

140million barrels ONSHORE should easily see a £100million mcap in the short term and that is being very conservative, to be honest I would just want them to sell it to a major.
