I imagine the block wide prospective resource number will have increased markedly. The entirety of PEDL183 is a smallcap oil companies dream. Holding a slither of the Southern North Sea Gas basin where it comes a little onshore and along the coast. The story here is much more than WN, atleast 3 other large prospects and other prospectivity aswell. License is near oil refineries and gas processing + sales infrastructure. From a commercial perspective, it ticks many many boxes. Its no wonder SS have gone all in with WN. There are always risks, but Rathlin have done a great job in mitigating risk thus far.

Minimum 140million barrels of oil onshore, if that does not lead to a buyer near term I dont know what will.

Assuming BMD is right I think he is considering how eager Steve and Sachin are to increase Rathlin/West Newton stake, unlike them to go all in.

I should imagine the BOD's from RBD and UJO are on the phone to Rathlin at this very minute explaining that they are publicly quoted companies, and when speculation is put out into the market it has either to be denied or a statement made that YES the speculation is true.
