dandigirl , Thanks, I am very pleased to hear that if Trump is elected the war may be over in 24 hours. I also note that even nutter Boris thinks Ukraine should negotiate.
I have already registered and seen the last trade but can not see any indication of a buy price or sell price.

gfrae; suggest you take a look at the company's website where you will find...

"Raven Property Group has implemented a matched bargain facility to assist shareholders wishing to trade in the Company’s ordinary shares and preference shares".

You will need to register if you haven't already done so.

Last transaction.

31/05/2024 - Preference - 12,678 - 12p

Interesting. Maybe prices will increase with the possibility of a Trump presidency and the war over in 24 hours.

Again an immediate response

I asked about a potential tender offer for our shares and /or how long for a listed exchange

Reassuring that CEO open to dialogue

Reply from Benn

The general meeting took place and all resolutions were duly passed. We are working on the migration to the ADGM currently. The circular set out reasons why this may take some time.

Regarding your other queries, please can you provide your contact number, our CEO is more than happy to discuss such matters directly with shareholders.

Not holding out too much hope for my ordinary shares sadly as I guess they would still need to clear the significant arrears on the preference shares first regardless of the move so I think any returns look a fair way off, which is probably why you're struggling to find any takers.Perhaps there could be a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel for preference share holders though - I'm sure the Directors aren't just moving to Dubai for the weather ?

Bit harsh on AJ Bell, who I've always found very helpful from customer service point of view. Anyway, here's their clarification on the matter

"Yes, we can confirm your understanding is correct and you will be able to continue to hold these shares in the SIPP even once they are certificated and no longer in CREST. "

I think that puts it unambiguously to bed...

I'm not with AJB, but they sound a lot like Hargreaves Lansdown - you get an inadequate but basically competent message and when you ask for clarification you end up dealing with some intern who doesn't have a clue. With HL sometimes you have to threaten them with the ombudsman before they wheel out the back room staff who know what's going on.

Fortunately in this case my RAVP are in regular share-dealing accounts.

Perhaps it would have helped if I posted the message I sent them, to which they replied above

AJ Bell - "Due to the international sanctions on Russia and Russian counter-sanctions, the company has been in the process of restructuring its operations. The main issue it has is that counterparties, both here and in Russia, who are reluctant to be involved in any cross-border movement of funds out of Russia.

The Board has determined that re-domiciling the company to the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), to source a wider pool of counterparties willing to engage, will provide the best opportunity for the company to realise value from its assets.

Therefore, the company is proposing to re-domicile from Guernsey to the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), subject to approval at a General Meeting to be held on 21 May 2024.

The shares are currently held in the UK Settlement System, CREST. Once the company completes its migration to the ADGM, the shares will no longer be CREST eligible and as a result, share certificates will be issued in place of the electronic holdings.

We are currently investigating whether you will have the opportunity to withdraw share certificates to be held directly in your own name, should you wish to. "

Me - "I refer to the above corporate action and the message I received from you.

If the shares are removed from Crest and paper certificates are issued, would I still be able to hold them in my AJ Bell SIPP? "

AJ Bell - "Please be advised, I have now heard back from the relevant team who have informed me that there's no issues with the pension rules holding unlisted shares in the SIPP.

We wouldn't allow customers to purchase new investments in unlisted shares but if previously listed ones become unlisted, they can continue to hold them.

It could be difficult down the line to sell and/or transfer the assets but this will be up to you to consider if you wish to take that risk or sell it before it delists."

They seem a little confused about domicile and listing. The shares have been unlisted for nearly two years.
