There was a person on here whose family had something like five per cent of the issue invested for their family ,I think it was notified in one of the reports , Gordon family trust I had in mind but that may be wrong , whatever that’s a significant kick in the teeth .

It is good to see the Directors are in this with us. It would be good to hear from Quilter and Schroder just to find out what they think. Is there any update on trading. I imagine distributions centres are always needed not so sure about office space. Praying for peace and an end to stupid wars.

Also hoping EBOX does not go the same way as RAVP do think that EBOX is a quality company and in a safe country but have only 5% in EBOX did have less than 1% in RAVP as never classed Russia as very safe.
Hoping that we come good in the fullness of time for all that it seems our directors are on our side and working for the shareholders.

Thanks 1knocker a good few years of dividends. Though nearly all reinvested in Raven as Class A1 distribution depots in a growing and reasonably stable country. What could go wrong? I look at tritax europe EBOX on a 37% discount and a yield of plus 7% and wonder if I am wrong again to buy at these levels? Having worked in distribution many of the companies that rent these spaces will not move in a generation.

We all live in hope pbaker, though it looks as though, sadly, you have more reason to than most of us. Its always a particular kick in the teeth to invest family money and have the investment go sour. I hope that at least you enjoyed a decent number of years of dividends before our lords and masters decided to punish the Russians by making gifts of our assets to them.

The Company then divested its Russian business to members of its Russian management team on 14 July 2022 but retains an investment in non-voting preference shares in the property investment group.
It is over a year since the divestment took place. Every three months, I do miss my Raven preference dividend. 136,900 preference shares. This was a massive part of my retirement plan. It was going to provide all the luxuries for my retirement. Oops.
Even worse I help my family with there investments and they had 83000 between them.
As always I pray for peace and then I pray for a resumption of preference dividends.
Lots of capital now tied up at a potential zero. Though with the dream of full repayment with dividends accrued.
I always read this notice board avidly. Especially thoughtful comments.

Wonder whether Raven assets may be subject to expropriation similarly as per for Carlsberg and Danone, and if so whether it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise e.g. if it provides grounds for compensation awards in countries where Russian state, or state linked entities have assets.

The company never paid me the declared dividend on my 10k RAVP shares. They never replied on my emails as well. I am properly registered on their new service, the new shares agent (link group) and I hold a physical certificate. I believe they are crooks and my money got evaporated.

Rahosi many thanks for the information. It will be interesting to see what people want or take for their shares when the matched bargain trading starts. I feel the ordinaries are almost worthless with the value being mainly in RAVP. The arrears on the preference is building and i wonder if another payment will ever be made.
As always I pray for peace and an end to sanctions. Though all the talk is of more weapons and no mention of a peace conference or solutions. You would imagine Peace would be a simple thing. A UN lead peace keeping force in the disputed regions. A 10/20 year delayed plebiscite on ether to remain Ukrainian or to join Russia.
The intervening years would allow institutions to be put in place to allow a peaceful transfer which ever way the vote went. It may cost billions but it seems everyone would be better off spending billions on peace rather than war.

Share Trade Facility webpage - Update. (No trades posted)

Scheme Rules for the trading facility:

The following sets out the basis that a matched bargain trading facility is offered to shareholders of Raven Property Group Limited (the “Company") by Ravenscroft Group Limited (“Ravenscroft”).

An auction will occur monthly on the following basis:

Valid Orders* must be received by the Company prior to close of business on the last working day of each calendar month;
Where orders are invalid they will be disregarded. An order will be considered invalid if the details are incomplete and in particular the broker details are not provided (see item 8 below);
The date of receipt of Valid Orders is not taken into account during the auction;
The lowest sale (offer) price is taken first, to be satisfied on a ‘weighted average’ basis from buyers at the same or higher price;
Ravenscroft will contact successful participants to confirm their participation in the monthly auction. Each party will then have 14 calendar days to arrangement settlement of the trade. Should the participant not be in a position to settle the trade within 14 days, the order will be cancelled;
Should any orders be cancelled then Ravenscroft will recalculate the allocation based on the rules above and advise the participants accordingly;
All remaining and/ or unsatisfied Valid Orders after each monthly auction will ‘roll over’ into the next monthly auction;
The auctions are only open to shareholders who hold shares or can settle shares into a dematerialised holding (CREST). No certificated transactions can be proceed under this facility; and
A minimum offer/bid transaction value of £1,000 is required.

After each monthly auction where there have been trades, details of these settled trades will be posted on the Company’s website.

* A Valid Order must include the following information

Full name of individual/shareholder including full contact details (email/telephone);
Details of the broker where the shares are held or will be settled on purchase;
Number and type of shares being offered/bid; and
Price limit or price at which shares will be offered/bid.

Yes, I got the same reply as Uncle_sam. Acting on Zandook’s advice (& others) promptly means the shares were never actually removed from my account, so we are back to the status quo.
