10/6/2010 16:20 | Buys appearing over offer. | trint76
10/6/2010 16:07 | barryrog, With positive results from Texas my guesstimate for the share price is 9p+. Just need OZ to be more positive and as CNF said the 2.9p right issue sellers long gone, or words to that affect. Then you will see 5p offer for sure. GD | greatfull dead
10/6/2010 16:07 | zufff- I think zou've got zour z and y kezs mixed up! | runbrian
10/6/2010 16:01 | even so, i reckon that 5p offer is imminent. | barryrog
10/6/2010 15:58 | The answer to your question sagem is that there are too many market makers operating in Range stock. The shares are too widelz held amongst them so there is no need for sudden moves either waz. there will alwazs be amm who keeps the lid on the price and it only takes 1. | yufff
10/6/2010 15:33 | CNF, Thanks for that. The medication is doing the trick. Can't stand lying in bed all day. Could you give a guesstimate on Smith Well#1 fraccing completion on all 3 zones? ATB, GD | greatfull dead
10/6/2010 15:16 | Big 1,000,000 sell just gone through at 4.41, perhaps a delayed one keeping the price down. | markth126
10/6/2010 14:25 | Sagem, Good point. But this can be said of other companies too. The hoards usually arrive when its flying high. Very unfortunate for them but thats business for you. Key has been to calculate what you think is fair value and invest accordingly. A few have the foresight, many just don't. Cash | cashandcard
10/6/2010 13:52 | I have never known a share price to react like Range especially with all the news...tip sheets and analyst making their recommendations and huge potential and all say its a buy....we all know that as well and still the share price sticks........buyers buying with always less sellers, its a mystery to me why this is happening to a company with so much potential and this has been advertised in papers etc | sagem
10/6/2010 13:15 | Who cares? The share price will move on the basis of fundamentals, i.e. news. The fact that the company is undervalued on the basis of its existing assets is merely a buying opportunity. The longer the share price stays at these levels, the more I will buy. The payoff comes later. | jemetpl
10/6/2010 13:02 | Buys still outweighing the sells considerably and have been for a week now, yet the mms wont let the breaks off!!?? If this was the other way round i guarantee they would have tanked the price!!! | iainmac24
10/6/2010 12:44 | barryrog Bought on the 7/6....why did they not buy on a times plus 20 days | sagem
10/6/2010 12:04 | i told you Captain. virtually every sell is a t trade bought within the last 5 days and almost certainly by punters who cannot pay for their shares. 124,854 just sold and triggered the tick down was bought 7/6 @ 4.74p. | barryrog
10/6/2010 11:39 | Well that small increase did not last long, I can see no reason for loosing it as their are no big sells unless they are to come in later. | sagem
10/6/2010 11:03 | notarealdr Yes it would be good to see latest updated UK holdings, must be very close to 50% by now. Edit. Maybe even over 50% | alistair4444
10/6/2010 10:52 | I do like the look of the rise on the charts this time around. It looks a much steadier rise than the spikes we have had in the recent months. Bodes well for a more sustainable share price imo. | itstelboy
10/6/2010 10:50 | Should have an update on UK holdings tonight. Will post as soon as. | notarealdr
10/6/2010 10:21 | MP, O/T Yeah as you've probably seen my posts on EME regarding SL/SK area, these are 3% wells to EME so not high impact stuff. Its good that tehy've so many well locations and each well is coming up successful but about 3 wells there make a half decent result to EME. Its a good development to have over time but its high impact stuff that these small caps need to get the price moving. Its Riverbend at EME, that is the one to keep an eye on. If they can resolve the reservoir issues on the current well then it'll fly, if not it'll continue to stagnate until Eagle is drilled and it again is technically challenging in terms of friable/unstable reservoir. So high risks but high rewards on the impact wells but not many will get excited about 3% interest wells for the near-term. Good for the long-term but it'll need a good result to pick them up. I still hold but no expecting to see an exit point until after RB-2 is drilled and at that it will need to be completed successfully. If they managed that it should be in the teens again. Its amongst my highest risk stocks and one of my smallest holdings in this sector. Also not a fan of their communication skills. Captain Nelson Forties | captainnelsonforties
10/6/2010 10:05 | It would seem that the mm's have a large stock of 2.9's that they have acquired from somewhere. Neither arbitrage nor T-trading activity can explain the lack of upward movement of the price under such relentless buying. We know, or at least suspect, from comments made on this board that not all PI's were treated equally at the placing. Maybe some 'body' who received a big chunk of the placing has sold ( or otherwise made available ) millions of 2.9's to the mm's. If this is the case then is anybody out there counting to see when these are finally likely to be cleared out ? | nicanon
10/6/2010 10:05 | One word.... consolidation It's healthy to have this, since it will provide a solid support level for the future. | snurkle1
10/6/2010 09:57 | Cash, Very true and its near term, so its just a matter of time before the average buyer is much higher average price than 2.9p and happier to hold than those selling for a profit. Just putting a few ideas forward to explain the current share price. Otherwise folks will just get frustrated and think its not going to rise regardless of the buying. It will when they have to release the breaks and that could be on the next news regarding the NCR. Mr D, Did nay say there were only block sellers, there were block buyers too. Just pointing out there there were more than iddy biddy sellers. Cash, Pressure is starting to build on EO. as we approach the crunch results time for sure, looks about to pop, and they may give details on the plans for Catcher East. ;) Captain Nelson Forties | captainnelsonforties |
