07/5/2010 12:38 | Taken from AIM rules. General disclosure of price sensitive information 11. An AIM company must issue notification without delay of any new developments which are not public knowledge concerning a change in: ♦ its financial condition; ♦ its sphere of activity; ♦ the performance of its business; or ♦ its expectation of its performance, which, if made public, would be likely to lead to a substantial movement in the price of its AIM securities. If they have information, lets have it! | phil4711
07/5/2010 12:15 | Are you fick or summit? The rules are different in AUS. If there is market sensitive news to be released they suspend. Blimey, how many more times? Most invested here expect it to be good; while no arbitrage available from AUS the UK share price usually rises. Another day of trading Monday should see the same effect. What the news actually turns out to be is....but it is a buying op to most RRL observers. Topicel | topicel
07/5/2010 12:10 | Still at a loss as why trading suspended in Aus but still going on here,be it good or bad news! | phil4711
07/5/2010 12:04 | Phil - see you got there :) | steelwatch
07/5/2010 11:59 | hadronuk, just re-read report,and seen page two,apologies. | phil4711
07/5/2010 11:45 | phil4711 They stated it was for a texas reserves report!!!! See Page 2. notarealdr To be chronologically correct, shouldn't that be Typhus/PWhite/Sagem? | hadronuk
07/5/2010 11:29 | SIGNIFICANT PUNTLAND MILESTONE Range Resources Limited ("Range" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that Range, Africa Oil Corp. and the Puntland State of Somalia have entered into amending agreements modifying the terms of the existing Production Sharing Agreements ("PSAs") made in respect of the Dharoor and Nugaal Valley Exploration Areas. Last time they suspended in Aus but kept on trading on AIM was for the above announcement,( apart from the share entitlement offer),i expect it will be along similar lines again this time, and not a well update. | phil4711

07/5/2010 10:53 | beginner, sagem/pw, to discuss a stock is informative as opposed to incessant downramping without adequate knowledge of the particular stock. As you feel the need to remind us, we are all entitled to our opinions. If I agreed with alistair then that is my opinion. Stop your whinging. | notarealdr
07/5/2010 10:36 | Here we go again more buys than sells and the market makers mark the share price down...they just use this market as a gambling saloon. | sagem
07/5/2010 10:29 | Alistair4444_ I am not going to lower myself to your level,I am dissapointed rather than feel angry towards you,I have previously read your post and some are very informative Each to their own,I am entitled to my opinion as you are | beginner3
07/5/2010 10:29 | Three Days, If some of the emails are to be believed then I doubt it. Whats more likely to happen is a quantification of reserves for Smith based on all the well data to date. Based upon those figures, a resource estimate for the entire acreage position to be proved-up with further development drilling. I hope the numbers are inline or exceed the ballpark we have all been expecting. Cash | cashandcard
07/5/2010 10:23 | Could it be they're just going to announce a delay to the reserves report. | three days
07/5/2010 10:23 | beginner3 - Your another idiot then along with your mate buggy | alistair4444
07/5/2010 10:10 | buggy - good post mate!! | beginner3
07/5/2010 10:08 | buggy, I agree that the suspension in Oz is good "PR" for us pomms, but it isn't done for that reason. ASX rules are much stricter than AIM, and that is why all the dodgy companys end up on this exchange. (not suggesting RRL is dodgy, but many are) It is a legal requirement that has to be approved by the ASX, and not posturing from PL and Co. | shugmonkey
07/5/2010 10:00 | notarealdr you are a genius. | buggy
07/5/2010 09:58 | buggy you are an idiot. That Texas is not of a valuable material nature if substantial is to say the moon is made of Swiss cheese. A find in Puntland is icing on the cake for sure but each barrel of oil from Texas serves to de-risk the stock and should not be underestimated. | notarealdr
07/5/2010 09:47 | Some people are getting carried away. For me I am in this for puntland...Texas will be a nice earner but will be nothing spectacular. Suspension in OZ untill the reserve report is released?? Good PR for the gullible on the uK market but does not really say anything. Why no suspension on AIM? AIM rule also states that any information that is likely to move the share price should be released when available. If they have market sensitive data, which may leak to a select few, then a suspension will be required in AIM until an orderly dessimination of the information. Hence I do not think whatever will be released will do much to the share price. Besides how can an accurate reserve report be done with only a single well???....at moment there is no indication of the extent of the find. A more accurate report may be estimated after the next drill but then again it will be a guesstimate as 2 holes does not really provide enough to trully quantify the results. Back to sleep now for me, rise is welcome but I expect it to retrace when people that jumped the gun find out that this report will not tell us anything that we already do not know. The play for this year is puntland, so just sit tight and wait for that. | buggy
07/5/2010 09:16 | Did say NORTH of 5p Topicel - my own charts show RRL trading north [as soon as next week] of 6p/7p | redleafboy
07/5/2010 09:12 | The 5p has been signalled for a while now, and maybe the big buyer sees it writ large by Tuesday. There is no doubt that Peter Landau has been true to his word and the detail is all that is required now. Topicel | topicel
07/5/2010 09:05 | The investor who put in north of £100,000 will be looking for [and soon] north of 5p | redleafboy |
