I have just posted this on Hotcopper for those who might be interested

It might be of interest when trying to understand the morons who are the RRL anti's on this forum

Intelligence remains allusive for some on Hotcopper!

I find it quite strange that people on this forum expect to be updated on every aspect of this public company

If you are a shareholder, you will be informed in the appropriate manner as to developments of the company's activities

If you are not, then become one or move on.

The funny thing is that the modicum of posters for the anti, are doing so on the basis of what mood fancies them and also lace there rhetoric with the past. The future is what is relevant, but some don't get that.

The company has made announcements as required and that is that.

If you have a beef beyond that then take it up with the ASX/ASIC or run the risk of being sued for defamation.

Range has been in this gig (as have I) for quite a few years, yet it is now an oil and gas producer in Texas, with another well soon to spud and also has completed the siesmic in Georgia in what has been publicly stated (from past data) as holding quite a few hundred million barrels or oil.

Some may choose to go on about the grammar that AOI uses in it's communique with people to find a weak point, but the reality is they have spent, with Range plenty of dollars to make this happen.

The downrampers can go back home, your job has been done to the extent that it can be done.

By the way, if the anti's think they can influence anyone here, it might pay you to observe that there is now nearly 40% of the stock on AIM and the company is soon to be trading on the NYSE.........."the boy who cried wolf" comes to mind

p.s. the volume of posts occuring on hotcopper are outnumbered by at least 100 to 1 on other boards in the UK. Not to be critical of Hotcopper at all, but if you can't figure that Range is becoming 'International' then you need to have some therapy, or more

The email was superb and addressed the, potentially libellous, comments from the poster very well.

I have nothing but confidence in the company, its management and their extyremely effective and thorough development of what is now a broad based business portfolio.

as a lawyer I don't think PL would be that stupid...he also can't be held responsible if people get excited about the POTENTIAL numbers for Texas that he has already discussed on the miningnews website...its just nice to hear it again straight from the horses mouth

Hiya Brasso, GD, and all on the thread.

Careful discussing stuff and making wild guesses and predictions about confidential info on the boards guys, that hasn't been announced officially by the company, or some might just mistakenly think we are party to some kind of inside info. Now we would hate to be thought of as doing illegal stuff, like insider dealing. We might get raided by the Gestapo, and extradited to the USA, or even worse, transported to Australia. It happened to Valentine and Stewart on the AMER thread, (ok, not extradited, but done good an' proper), and just recently some shareholders of GOO have been arrested too.

I think we all know that no-one has any secret info that hasn't been issued by the company, but anyone reading these boards might just think so, judging by some of the posts. We should make it clear it is just MERE SPECULATION.

Also, if anyone ever gets any info in reply to correspondence with the company, it should NEVER EVER be mentioned on the boards, for directors of most companies, their NOMADS, brokers, etc, actually read these boards to see what flavour they are with investors periodically, and any source of information will stop immediately.

It might be a good idea to just read your posts that have appeared today, and if you think they should be edited, then do so. I certainly think they should.

Just a piece of advice, should it ever happen that the company lets something inadvertantly slip out.

What were the expectations on here for the reserves at N. Chapman Ranch? Has it ever been mentioned how many drils could be required to efficiency extract the HCs?

Emails I have had from him have been the same. Note I will not pass them on, so please don't ask.

I would advise anyone who has a reasonable question that is not share price sensitive to email PL themselves.
