Very exciting morning whilst I have been pushing trollies in the sunshine. Hardly any posts though. Just Celtic complaining about troll on lse and QANTAS writing about a threesome. No idea what troll is writing about; nor does anyone want to know any more.

Oil is hammering up. $56.21. Lovely jubbly.

And a fair amounts of trades - up 20%, down 30%, now moving up again. Very welcome interest in Range after over 3 months in suspenders. Looks like a good end to week and all to play for next week.

Looks like Malcy is as confused as ego about today's news. Strange the ego didn't post it as it normally does when it's positive "Range has announced that it has terminated negotiations with the pre-school educational business in China it was hoping to buy but that the debt restructuring negotiations with LandOcean continue. The shares will return from suspension and one assumes that the restructuring of the oil and gas businesses promised at the time of suspension are continuing.I would imagine that the process within Trinidad is continuing therefore the long-awaited consolidation of assets should be imminent, that's assuming any of the other island companies are interested. As for the service part of the business it has a pretty smart inventory of rigs which should find a home somewhere in the region.It really is difficult to see where Range will end up, with its Chinese investors, management and debt I suppose the natural guess is to look east..."
