Still plenty to play for here but it will be a bumpy road. A great trading stock over the next 2 months before it disappears.

Ken , thanks for data on FRES. I hadn't realised how big it was. Currently trading big in GLEN. Bound to get my fingers burnt now!

Bocase, thank you for the info on the FRES upgrade from RBC.

I hope they're right as back in June they gave ABF flying colours upgrading to £31.00 but if you look at the price now they trading at around £22.50.

I do understand that their predictions are based on a 12 month cycle however 30% knocked off the price in just over 4 months I would say they got that one wrong.

Tom great timing there and if your happy with your profit its better in the bag.
Quite a rise in 4 weeks 30% so it may run out of steam a little now.
Unfortunately FRES has stamp to pay which is a bit of a sod, but they mine Silver and Gold and from what I see production of gold is around the 900,000 ounce mark that's not far behind RRS and their main activity is silver which I believe comes in at around 65 mil ounces.

Tom as you say you win some and lose some that's why I tend not to be too greedy and take a cut of the cake possibly earlier rather than risk losing my reward.

My worst hit was Easyjet when referendum results came out I lost 80K in 3 bloody days that hurt badly, but ive got a close eye on Easyjet again this time trying to get in at the bottom.

Ken, I bottled it late this afternoon and sold the lot. The gains were too great in too short a time for me not to take the profits. I will look into FRES as don't know much about it other than it is a Silver Co. I have very unhappy memories of fxpo as lost a fortune on it just before it quadrupled. Win some lose some. Glen is one of favourites given no stamp duty so will trade that if I can. Good luck. Tom

You probably saw that FRES was upgraded today by RBC with the price target increased from £12 to £13.

Hi Redtom you done well with SHP I pulled out earlier at the end of June averaging 41.80
I was happy with that as I had been buying in from January from £34.50 down to £30.00 eventually holding 7200 not quite as many as yourself.

I have moved into FRES CAML CEY HGM GLEN FXPO amongst others I think metals will do well in next 6 to 12 months as they've had a pretty rough time in last 5 months.

Good luck Tom and hope £63 comes sooner than later I am average 9.00 on FRES which is my heavyweight so looking for at least 13.50 to 14.00 before selling any.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for asking.
I bailed out of Shire at £46 with a view that I would go back in closer to the deal date. I liked the look of RRS as a save haven for that period and got very lucky with my timing. So my retirement fund is pretty much where I wanted it to get it to. Not sure about completely retiring but I will resign within 6 months and take a couple of years off. Will be going to Japan RwC now too. Having said all of this I still have a big chunk of RRS shares (sold half today) to unload over the coming months. Would like to get £63 for those if I'm lucky.

Hope your investments are going well too. I still think there is a 10% uplift in Shire to be had but I don't like the current economic/political climate.
