The DUP should agree - they are anti-Corbyn and they are basically Tories.

Even if no formal agreement, they will vote Tory to avoid an election and Corbyn.

Anyway - they bigger elephant is the US and raising rates creating the recession they want to avoid.

It's coming. There is too much debt in the world for normalisation and tappering of Central Bank balance sheets.

More important news today is non-durables out of the USA at 1.30.

Terrible last month a another shrink this month will confirm less than 1% GDP growth in Q2 and also confirmation of a slowing US economy. Both facts dovish for rate hikes and bullish gold.

TODAY
Gold edged higher as the dollar softened and risk aversion due to geopolitical events buoyed the safe-haven appeal of the metal.

Very promising for next week....might get to £73 by next friday.
Off course this is my own calculations and looking at my own chart.
