Gold down $18. I'm afraid we are looking at between £55-56 tomorrow morning.

RRS are going to be on top of the FTSE fallers chart first thing.

6662 One of the best posts I have ever seen posted on ADVFN. Well said.
My personal advice is to filter him and move on.

Exactly. Why on earth didn't you wait like I said? Seriously though, the thing is Pettigrew, novice investors come to these chat sites to gain confidence and try to learn where to invest and why. If someone like you is confidently bullish, some people will listen to you and as a result these people will be losing money. You are responsible. Do you understand that? Whether you are who you say you are (a millionaire professor who trips to the country of a weekend) or what others say you are (a troll in a bedsit on a by-pass) does not matter. People will read your eloquently bullish opinion and invest. Its totally irresponsible to write what you write on a daily basis. And as for the utter bobbins links you post - often out of date articles written by complete muppets. What on earth are you thinking? If you are in fact a decent person, realise what you write has an impact. Not everyone unlimited Pettigrew family coffers to counteract your wrong calls.

Gold down $15. If this carries on, RRS will be the biggest faller in the morning.

£55 is possible.

At that level, I will go back in big-time with a massive top-up.

Gold breaking down below $1150. We could be in for a torrid morning here tomorrow.

As earlier, if we break down below $1150 by our opening in the morning, then you can expect RRS to hit around £57.

If, however we don't and we have only a minor re-trace, say around $3 to $1156/7 then we could go back a £1 or so to £58.30 and then a re-think.

If $1150 holds, aside from the first hour's pull-back (which I think is nailed on in any case) then we can expect RRS to carry on progressing.

I think if gold holds above $1150 overnight, and by the 8am market open here in the morning, then we could, by and large, take $1150 as support.

But, it's on a knife-edge.

Gold could break down below $1150 overnight. Would equate to a £57 price here in the morning.

Gold price dropping back now.

Surely a 50 basis point rise isn't going to happen in 50 minutes?

Watch what unfolds. Greed never wins.

Too much scum here.

Eat your heart out dirtbag.

We're rolling in it over at Randgold (RRS)

Meanwhile you continue to lose your disciples bucketloads on this mount of vomit.

Hope you're well underwater for xmas.

Whatever the Fed decides today we can be sure it will be to the benefit of Wall Street and not Main Street. A policy of soothing bond market without spooking equities. Personally not convinced of them raising rates but if they do it will be small steps widely dispersed. Looks as though precious metals are reacting favourably, so far, and long may it last:)
