Perhaps someone who is a bit more knowledgeable can link it in...I have never seen such a comprehensive financial model before, its given me something to aspire to :) regards | randombutton

10/4/2012 11:51 | I have recently been in contact with RMM and they sent me an interesting "seymour pierce equity research" document (dated 15th march). I found it interesting because of the detailed financial model inluded within it. In my opinion it is worth reading. The other bit of interest was "We are right at schedule, looking forward to switching over to Copper production in the upcoming month." so I continue to have every confidence going forward regards | randombutton
08/4/2012 13:26 | Forgot to post the broker update dated 22nd Mar. 'The latest quarter was a transformational period for Rambler as it successfully brought its Ming mine into production. Taking advantage of the high gold price has proven to be a good decision for the company and good early revenues have been added to the balance sheet value of Rambler's Minerals Properties, preserving Rambler's tax loss credit. Rambler should see a significant re-rating in its share price as the copper circuit starts up. The initial gold production phase has been a profitable interlude but the bigger story is copper production that will produce much larger revenues. The Company can then build on its firm production base and is now well positioned to achieve its near term objective to become a midtier producer with a China-based strategic investor and good organic growth options such as the Lower Footwall Zone or one of the nearby, high grade deposits.' | ![]() mdchand
07/4/2012 10:12 | Harry Dobson is an interesting man. Listed as the sixth richest man in Scotland in 2006 with an estimated fortune of £550m by 2008 his fortune had declined to a measley £250m and in 2009 he was worth just £180m making him just 92nd in Estates Gazette Rich List. In 2011 he was listed in the Sunday Times rich list as just the 18th richest person in Scotland with £190m. With homes in London Edinburgh and Dublin he is naturally a Manchester United supporter and bought a $48m stake in the club, selling it later for a 30% profit. Dobson seems to believe that the Western World in in a terminal decline but he is optimistic about prospects for his current companies, including Rambler. | ![]() snowydays

05/4/2012 21:57 | It might take us a year now to get back to 40p if they manage to produce by then, perhaps longer with further placements for Singida likely to occur. | jgraggaber
03/4/2012 18:00 | snowydays A lot of these guys don't necessarily have plenty of cash to splash about and use their options as a valid way to hold a stake in their company. Like most of us, they still have children, partners, mortgages, et al, to support. They also have very few short windows of opportunity to trade shares on the market due to the closed period rules on AIM for insiders. So it is far from unusual I find. Chip | ![]() chipperfrd
03/4/2012 14:13 | Its Harry Dobson's shareholding that, for me, is key. If he didnt own any shares i would then be worried! | ![]() cfro
03/4/2012 13:51 | Snowydays,Harry Dobson's 8m shares is over 7% of the co.and that is a very good vote of confidence. | ![]() rogash
03/4/2012 13:04 | Does anyone else find it disappointing that Ogilvie and most of the directors don't own any shares in Rambler? If they genuinely believe that the shares are due an imminent rerating surely they should be buying? Ogilvie has a substantial number of options and the strike price is from 93c so he has an incentive to get the shareprice up, but it would be nice to see him show some faith in the company by putting some of his own money in. Harry Dobson has a major shareholding, 8m plus shares and another director owns a few hundred thousand but apart from that none of the directors seem to own any. | ![]() snowydays
