05/6/2013 18:03 | No comments on the 3 holdings RNS's ? MWW Cap ltd increased holding by 6.3m shares to 10.5% ELW Cap ltd increased holding by 3.8m shares to 6.4% Ruffer holding unchanged 14% Now I thought these might just be 2 of the companies who took shares as 70% of monies owned. But the increase in their positions exceeds the 8.6m shares issued for that purpose and there were 3 lenders to consider also. Therefore someone is offloading... TB perhaps and we should see further holdings statements or an rns with a further issue of equity (ie. New investment). Either way encouraging they've taken significant positions in such a small company. One note of caution mind, a Google search on both MWW and ELW Cap Ltd produces very little. Anyone know of them ? Cheers 'T" | ![]() t-raider

04/6/2013 20:19 | Genesis, as pointed out above, directors only take their salary in shares if the company doesn't have the money to pay them. If it did have the money, the company pays the directors what it owes them and the directors can then use the funds to buy as many or as few shares as they choose. | ![]() abadan2

04/6/2013 07:18 | Would anybody be taking shares instead of cash, if the company was not broke? Companies paying creditors and employees in shares is a sign of severe financial hardship. Do not delude yourselves that there is some great bit of news that they have been storing up. The question is can they undo the damage done by TB and give the company a long term future? 50:50 in my view. | ih_318421
03/6/2013 21:03 | cgod would the directors be taking shares instead of salary unless the prospects are looking good for 2013. fingers cross on the news | ![]() genises
03/6/2013 20:57 | "T" after hours RNS, cannot even get the sums correct, My DCD Fair results and a 1000 - 1 consolidation, looks like Delisting, i hope RAM does gets its act together. | ![]() cgod
03/6/2013 15:27 | Of course the outlook will be positive, Directors have to justify salaries. If you weren't invested in this company already, would you do so based upon the facts? Of course not. | ![]() bonio10000
03/6/2013 09:56 | I imagine there are plenty that are disillusioned as we really have no idea whether RAM are making any progress across all /any of their subsidiaries. DCD (cgod sorry to draw a comparison) released reasonable results, but the accompanying corporate activity has hit it hard. The corporate activity is / has been cleared with RAM and we all expect poor results for teh full year (2012).... lets hope they've been holding an update back to promote a positive response and outlook. 03/6/2013 06:33 | I believe the seller at 2.525p is a disillusioned holder and there could be a lot more to come. Who can blame them eh? | ![]() bonovox4

30/5/2013 22:32 | Thanks Genises The days and weeks keep ticking by as we wait for some indication of a turnaround. News continues to be rumoured, but where is it (?) and meanwhile the share price suffers ! Just want something tangible to discuss, rather than all this musing..... very frustrating. 30/5/2013 06:19 | I don't think RAM believe in 7am RNS statements.... the only ones we seem to get are the results twice year.News flow is yet to improve under the new regime, outside of the corporate comings and goings. How much more deck is there to clear for heavens sake.Lets hope there is real purpose to all of this !"T" | ![]() t-raider

29/5/2013 20:26 | Deck clearing continues it seems so what's now going to land on the helipad, I wonder? I'd say we are definitely in a close period, ahead of prelims if nothing else, but that does not necessarily preclude Director deals. You see, AIM Rule 19 concerns close as in near, not closed as in shut, albeit that nearly everyone refers to it as the latter. "Restriction on deals 21. An AIM company must ensure that its directors and applicable employees do not deal in any of its AIM securities during a close period. In addition, the purchase or early redemption by an AIM company of its AIM securities or sale of any AIM securities held as treasury shares must not be made during a close period. This rule will not apply, however, where such individuals have entered into a binding commitment prior to the AIM company being in such a close period where it was not reasonably foreseeable at the time such commitment was made that a close period was likely and provided that the commitment was notified at the time it was made. The Exchange may permit a director or applicable employee of an AIM company to sell its AIM securities during a close period to alleviate severe personal hardship.... ....close period (i) The period of two months preceding the publication of an AIM company's annual results (or, if shorter, the period from its financial year end to the time of publication); and ♦ if it reports only half-yearly, the period of two months immediately preceding the notification of its half-yearly report or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of the notification; or ♦ if it reports on a quarterly basis, the period of one month immediately preceding the notification of its quarterly results or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of the notification; (ii) any other period when the AIM company is in possession of unpublished price sensitive information; or (iii) any time it has become reasonably probable that such information will be required by these rules to be notified. " As such, I think it's up to the Nomad to judge whether AIM rules are compromised and/or to seek dispensation in any special circumstances giving rise to doubt. In this case, I think it's probable that taking shares in settlement of salaries has been deemed to be a special circumstance. | steddieddie
29/5/2013 20:08 | If we are in a closed period I would now not expect any news for some time based on the following: If the directors of the company had received cash today in lieu of monies outstanding to them, they would not have been allowed to buy shares as we are in a closed period. What then is the difference in taking their payment in paper, surely if there is good news around the corner this could be perceived as insider trading as in this instance paper issued to them is far better than cash that can't be invested? | ![]() bonovox4
29/5/2013 15:04 | Yes i think we are. I think the next RNS will be a deal of some sort, may be SCREEN. | ![]() cgod
