04/6/2018 15:26 | Guess we'll find out whether the symmetry of charts is a self-fulfilling thing in this case, or whether the finals are tasty; revenue growth is already known so outlook will be interesting. There could easily have been a rush of buying after the bad weather as many people will have held back on the summer frocks. Although the concessions will run at lower margin, QUIZ have a lot of potential growth to go for online, so those outlets are a very effective marketing tool. | yump
04/6/2018 12:57 | have bought in today in anticipation of the finals tomorrow - will be interesting to see | asturius101

22/4/2018 17:08 | Listing price would be a racy rating, unless we enter a bull market. 160p seems an obvious place to stop for a month or so. That's a p/e of 20 or so on this coming year. Given the retail market, that seems pretty fair. | yump
22/4/2018 10:20 | Slowly it moving back up to listing price underpinned by good trading update | hamidahamida
13/4/2018 16:16 | From yesterday: Investors may be in denial about how strong Quiz PLC's brand is as its shares have been weak recently, says Peel Hunt, but the brokerage has no doubt that investors will soon appreciate the clothing retailer's earnings growth potential. Peel Hunt says Quiz's update showed that the company is in rude health as it reported a 30% increase in fiscal 2018 sales. Peel Hunt reiterates a buy rating on the stock with a 200 pence target price. | typo56
12/4/2018 09:24 | Plenty more growth to come from online and that group of shoppers should stay relatively separate from the store shoppers and therefore not hit store sales. Although they pay commission in various ways for concessions and for online sales via third party websites, that is putting the brand out there much more widely than simply having a stand-alone website. | yump
12/4/2018 08:03 | Onwards and upwards | kaka47
12/4/2018 08:01 | Really impressed with the online growth all in all good update | hamidahamida
28/3/2018 11:10 | Quiz looks promising because of its potential for online growth from a low base. However, ASOS completely different, not in its market, but in being right place, right time, right strategy. They hit online very early on, captured whatever online market was around in 2000-2002, they had a very successful affiliate scheme (where its very easy to measure exact ROI and marketing costs are automatically covered, because you only pay out commission on a sale: 100's of affiliates were promoting their name, but they only pay out once for a sale, so they got massive logo/brand exposure) and also coincided with the rise of celebrity as a driver for fashion buying. Hence the original name 'As seen on screen'. I think some affiliates may have almost retired on early ASOS share purchases, as in some ways you could see the success in advance, because you could see the sales as they were happening. Quiz is in many ways a 'me-too' brand, but they do seem to be executing well. | yump
28/3/2018 10:19 | I see big similarities with ASOS which I bought many years ago at 10p. They have had their ups and downs but having reached over £75 each during the last month, I have bought in and am prepared to hold. | scrambled
22/3/2018 11:06 | 2 million purchase this morning? Bit of a recovery going on in this one over last few weeks ... | mister md
19/3/2018 06:58 | I am not clever enough to know where the bottom is, however I don’t think it is just coincidence that the positive movement over the past week has coincided with Old Mutual Global Investors closing their short position, or at least going below the notifiable threshold. No concrete evidence obviously, however I am not convinced there is a great deal of overhang, but moreover the relatively low liquidity has faciltated a fairly easy ride for Old Mutual and possibly a handful of others in moving the price to where they wanted it. Recent weather hasn’t been kind to any retailer, and Quiz will not be an exception, however I fully expect an excellent pre-close update in April, fuelled primarily by overseas and online, that in conjunction with a maiden dividend announcement, should provide enough catalyst to keep nudging the stock towards a fairer valuation. Given the cute marketing, online and overseas expansion strategy being followed, I still fully expect it to be moving towards £2.50 over a 12 month time scale, barring any major hiccups. | kcr69
18/3/2018 21:20 | Not necessarily a bottom in yet. Trend still down on a meaningful timescale and all that supply above to clear. Needs to do a lot of work before it goes on my "hot to trot" list | davr0s
18/3/2018 15:23 | Well and truly bottomed out | kaka47
16/3/2018 19:24 | It was floated on a full valuation, so the drop wasn't surprising given the bad vibes about retailers with physical shops. But a p/e of 20, growing as it is, with lots of online to come would leave it on what I think is a fair valuation at 160p, based on coming year. They're starting from a low online base and the issue will be how much they're affected by lower footfall and whether online increases cancel that out. | yump
16/3/2018 14:49 | 4m volume on 12th Mar cleared a overhang perhaps | johnv
