This stock could double in price and its market cap would still only be 25% of BooHoos. Scotland is fashionable - just look at the growth of BRORA

Just whack in a couple of girls in kilts on the QUIZ website and we should just be right for the hogmanay party season

Net curtains, your enthusiasm is infectious and a pleasure to see, but please lets not attract Koovs rampers to this board trying to compare the two companies. One is a quality profitable growth business off the back of a clear omnichannel strategy, and progressive main and social media marketing campaign, the other, well, until the financial story changes dramatically, the other is no more than a visit to the roulette table.

For those that still don't understand where this business is going, and clearly there are many, online sales will represent over 25% of turnover this year and is likely to be approaching 50% by 2020. This is clearly a planned and structured approach which will be facilitated by the recent investment in the new warehouse.

Furthermore, while the board continue to evaluate all possible selling opportunities, including growing the number of physical sites, it continues to demonstrate it will not progress any new sites, or pontificate on closing standalone stores or concessions if strict P&L criteria are not met. This is reflected in the closure of 4 concessions and 1 standalone store this year.

It may require patience while waiting for the market to realise that Quiz is so much more than bricks and mortar, but if management continue to execute as they are doing, I have no doubt a dawning of reality will hit the market at some point soon.

If you want to deconstruct how QUIZ run their marketing campaigns from TUBE POSTERS to YOUTUBE here is vaguely "academic" article on the subject of QUIZ's 2016 summer campaign.

I suggest you read it, it is quite an eye opener

Netcurtains- pull yourself together man! Bricks & mortar retail have had their day. Online is the future. With India being the fastest growing major economy on Earth, there will be plenty of better opportunities there. When funding is completed (within the next week), Koovs (LON:KOOV) could be worth looking at.

Hi GreaGatsby:

I think the next update can be anytime - new star to advertise cloths, new ranges, new partner stores - not just in the UK but right round the world.

If mean financial info I think that will be in Nov. But as a retail investor, what counts more is the potential you can see in this stock as the "Christmas Disrupter" ...

Yes this is a punt but with BooHoo being valued at £2 billion - up from no where, one has to think this company can double (and even if it doubled it would only be valued at about £450m..

They do have a finance calendar it says 22 nov on their web site ...

looking at the store locator (See above) it would be relatively easy for Quiz to go 100% online as nearly all their "stores" are debenhams/outfit concessions.

They are in a really strong position to go down any retail path or online path that seems to be "in vogue" at a drop of a hat.

this could be huge!

Wow - I mean they have everything that BooHoo do not have.

BooHoo worth £2 billion....

Quiz just £200M - its a no brainer

Hi kMann

Obviously we are on a similar wavelength with regards to Quiz and its prospects, however irrelevant of the strength or other of yesterdays trading statement, there is nothing that irritates me more than lazy and inaccurate financial journalism, particularly as it appears to have a profound effect on the decision making of many individuals.

From that respect I fully appreciate your previous post and totally echo your sentiments.

For the record, I expect operational costs to be proportionally in line or marginally ahead of revenue growth leading to H1 2017/18 earnings of around £4.0m - £4.5m (excluding any exceptional IPO costs).
