The Boris Johnson effect may have been driving the price yesterday.

"The Mayor Boris Johnson has announced significant progress in one of London's largest residential schemes, creating thousands of new homes and jobs for south east London.

The final stage of planning consent, to build almost 3,000 homes on the 190 acre Greenwich Peninsula site, the majority of which is owned by the Greater London Authority, has now been secured by development partner Greenwich Peninsula Regeneration Ltd (GPRL), a joint venture between Knight Dragon and Quintain."

Interim Management Statement tomorrow 7th. August. Let's hope there is more meat on the bone this time than with the last IMS.

According to PropertyWeek, Phil Cottingham, Head of retail and MD at Quintain is to leave by the end of summer, as its key retail scheme nears completion.



Let's also hope this means "job done" and all/majority units have now been let at the London Designer Outlet in Wembley, scheduled to open later this year.

Hard to get live price on this QED1 bond till it is in crest .not sure why they done like this. All other property co had started in crest here.

For purposes of absolute clarity I have amended my post number 6189 that Quintain perhaps target in due course the bracket of the top UK 250 companies as judged by market cap.



In terms of what the indices constitute, I believe this is an accurate summary:-

FTSE 100 = 1-100

FTSE 250 = 101 -350

FTSE 350 = 1-350

FTSE Smallcap = 351 onwards


so any company in the range of 101 to 350 is both FTSE250 and FTSE 350.

(equally any company which is 1-100 is FTSE 100 and FTSE 350 but not FTSE 250)
