stephan - you're in GVC too, right? Amazing results this morning, near 9% dividend yield and a fleet of brokers saying Buy.

It's chalk and cheese fundamentally compared to QPP - yet you're absolutely vehement about QPP and its prospects. What makes you so confident?

Genuine question with no trolling intended. We share a hold in common so I'm curious.

Well blow me down, SK you are delivering a great public service to all QPP holders, personally I am so grateful to you for being so unselfish as to take the time, trouble and effort to give me and other QPP holders an advance warning of a threat that until you`re unselfish act informed us of, we were unaware.


Once again SK, I and others on this bb will never forget you`re largesse in relation to these horrendous events, can we rest assured that you will be even more vigilant on our behalf so that we cant be taken advantage of.

dasv, SK, I suspect you are wasting your time trying to educate about ASX or for the QPP enthusiasts to appreciate the other party in the deal.

ASX trading halt rules:

I would have thought that 17.3.2 would come in to play here. SGH market cap is 1.6 billion Aussie, which is 830 million GBP. To lay out cash of 640 million which is over 2/3 of the market cap is going to be an enormous change to the company. If real news has leaked then SGH would be halted for the period required, for example the next week, so that once funding was concluded all investors would have time to analyse the situation.

He specifically states that the £640m offer for QLS is expected to be announced on 23 March, whereupon the formal exclusivity period (31 March) will terminate.

Rugby - OPAY is suspended because it is about to launch a rights issue to fund a big acquisition. Where is SGH's rights issue to fund £640m + future fees for QPP's PSD?
