Lucy r.e. your post from first thing this morning. Yes, it had occurred to me that S&G could use paper though that is a touch more difficult with a different exchange. Again I think you are correct that a secondary in London could be used to raise both money and as a place for QPP shareholders to take paper.

A 1 for 1 looks a real stretch and if that was the rumour then the S&G price should show it. Presumably the new share is at a discount, which is treating current holders who can't stump up the cash very badly? A discount to 66% would do it. Again I'd expect that to show in the price.

I wonder whether SGH might be a decent short at 7.6?

And EBIX went to just over $9 in June 2013 so that was close too.

So NN you have effectively stated that Gotham seem to know what they're doing and it should therefore be a good idea to follow them in future?

GMCR was a massive battlefield stock with big hitters on both sides of the counter.

TTS was trading at 30 in the summer of 2013. Going short then, bearing in mind it got down to below 7 this January looks pretty good business. I imagine they closed out around 10 in Jan 2014 for a none to shabby 60% gain. PE is still 54. If it goes up again it looks like it will be a pretty good short once again.

I work for ennismore? Does anyone truly believe that posting on a bulletin boards changes the share price long term

We know steamy aka nickyname has encouraged people to buy share as high as 600, but it didnt change the share price!

Nicky,

So have Gotham called anything right?

Or are you only listing the bad ones?

NN - can you give any examples of factual inaccuracies in Gotham's report?

While I was short Afren the share price went from 4p intraday to 12.5p+

"the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent" - Keynes

This is one reason why shorting is so hard. Upside losses are potentially unlimited.

Assuming Gotham is wrong about EBIX, GMCR, Tile Shop, what does that have to do with any of their points re: QPP?

Instead of addressing Gotham's message, you have reverted to attacking the messenger.

there was another company attacked by Gotham too

in the same sector as Blinkx (probably why Blinkx was targetted by scare prophets)

that company is still trading ok. Can't remember its name though.
