16/4/2024 10:20 | Anyway, at least it's moving back in the right direction for yet another punt. | flc

16/4/2024 10:04 | Real questions for FG, CEO of QBT to answer on the blatantly misleading latest statements on Patents made in their latest RNS | zydecoco
16/4/2024 10:03 | Did a cursory diff and it does look like they have just copied over the original UK document whilst adding their names to it. Back to square one for QBT. Messages crossed.... Yes Zydecoco. As suggested they are back to square one but they did previously argue against these objections and may have been partially successful. What I don't get is that they would have had the opportunity to pre-empt such objections, they were in fact given that opportunity... ... but it looks like they made no effort to do so. Ah well, I suppose it strings things out for an additional EON. It rather reinforces my opinion that they are just going through the motions whilst being able to drop the occasional RNS that things are all going according to plan. | ellipses
16/4/2024 10:00 | Thanks for keeping us all up to date on patent applications and their progress (or not) EllipsesTo me reading the link to PCT's preliminary report, that all looks pretty damming for QBT.Basically nothing new to patent (cites 3 separate sets of work already done and published by other parties in 2013,15 and 16, all best part of a decade ago!). No Novelty, No Inventive Step, and also of observations about technically clarity. How on earth can they proceed from this? QBT has No Products, No Patents on IP, No Sales, No nothing. | zydecoco
16/4/2024 09:29 | First drop of the day. Presumably nothing to do with the latest concerns because the Market, read delusional investors, will not have noticed or do not care. Presumably BTC has fallen and, as we all know, the QBT share price tracks BTC which has nothing to do with it. Yup. Couple of idiots loading up because they think they have got a good in price for the next rerate on news. | ellipses
16/4/2024 08:35 | It's all going on. | ellipses
16/4/2024 08:33 | Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha (etc). Now it does not affect QBT because they can get their stuff to work on other rigs, until they get locked out of them. Let's also ignore the fact that QBT have spent the last forever banging on about how important to them it is that they get their stuff to work on BitMain. Pathetic. | ellipses
16/4/2024 08:07 | It would be interesting to know how they have achieved the block or lock out. Unless they have tied it into some sort of signing with the ASICS on the hashing boards then work arounds should be available. Of course if they produce future rigs with that hard wired in then it is game over for everyone, perhaps including BitMain. Excellent news for QBT though. They can claim they now have to do another 6 months of reverse engineering... then after 6 months they can claim they are almost there and then after another 6 months they can say it was harder than they thought but they have cracked it and on and on and on. | ellipses
15/4/2024 23:09 | Wonder if that is because they have not updated their firmware to the latest Bitmain firmware? Still demonstrates how fragile things are when using 3rd party firmware. | anddownitgoes
15/4/2024 22:44 | Marathon’s operational fleet is not affected by Bitmain’s stock firmware update All is fine chill | simonkittycat
15/4/2024 21:47 | Hat Tip to ZenMaster over on LSE... Square profile picture Marathon Digital Holdings (NASDAQ: MARA) @MarathonDH 🚨Attention MARAFW Users 🚨 Please note that Bitmain's latest stock firmware update may block usage of third-party ASIC firmwares, including MARAFW, from March 2024 onwards. We are working on it and will provide updates accordingly. Thank you! 9:20 PM · Apr 15, 2024 · 2,491 Views I assume March 2024 onwards in the message suggests that the action is retrospective. Otherwise I'm not sure what it means but it would be a bit of a shame if QBT had finally cracked it only to find out that BitMain had cut them off at the pass. I have mentioned the possibility of this in previous posts. | ellipses
15/4/2024 21:01 | The next few months will decide the fate of this business but at the moment it just seems to be drifting into a desolate wilderness of emptiness..even the rampers have thrown in the towel. | flc

15/4/2024 15:53 | Private Pike dreams of getting a Jaguar catalogue | zydecoco
15/4/2024 15:29 | With commercial roll out and revenue supposedly a maximum of 8 months away, QBT is down 32.5% YTD. Are you still sure QBT will fund your dreamed of Jag, Private Pike? Maybe it would be best just to get hold of a catalogue, cut out some pictures, overwrite the number plates 'QBT 24', and stick them on your wall. They will serve as a useful reminder that not all that glisters, let alone all that is claimed to glister, is gold. | 1knocker
15/4/2024 15:27 | 30 Sep 2014 was their last First Gazette and they have had some before that so, in recent times, yes it is new. However the company have recently been very lax about getting filings in on time in the companies they have fingers in in terms of chain of control and FG has been the same. | ellipses
15/4/2024 15:11 | Cant see they have had any strike off warnings up to this point so this is new | anddownitgoes
15/4/2024 14:38 | Yep, was due by 13th April. Never a good sign. At best it shows sloppy Management admin indicative of other slipshod practices.at worst it prefaces shutdown. | zydecoco |
