Here we go again.

Reals like a real breakout now, with volume.

My guess is that the market is beginning to really understand the Knight Dragon Greenwich deal and the way it will accelerate QED profits.

Thanks for that. Shows my ignorance.

I do t tend to follow the trades very much but tend to look at business fundamentals. E.g. Cash generation, mkt place, peer group prices, mgt team.

At the moment not too sure where market is going.

Hi Honiton

I do know what they are ;-))( I am an ex dealer myself) , my question was more about the strategy involved. 103, 85, 827 trades all AT all odd lots nothing big

This implies to me a masked buyer sweeping up all he can via DMA quietly without impacting the market too much . Placing a few million or big order would spook the market into a fast rise.

By the way closing auction has little relevance as odd lots trades are grouped together in those 5mins at a silly price as market is looking for a next best available bid or offer to settle eg limit orders not filled in the market during normal trading hours so the spread is normally very wide. In my experience they mean very little in terms of future price action. A bit like your fruit and veg stall outside the tube( if you live in London) come late in the day they drop the price and sell the odd lots to get rid of stock they don't need. Whether at a loss or not it doesn't matter.

cheers to a good day anyway , but my guess is more to come. My guess is that we are seeing a decent order being filled via a basic algo system .

Time will tell

O is an ordinary trade placed by a human being.

AT is a computer generated Automated Trade.

The closing auction O or NT trades are the most interesting as they can point to a big rise (say 0.5- 1.0%) the next day.

Am beginning to think that all these small dma trades ( by the look of it ) are some hidden big order being filled . Prety basic strategy

Any O trade if a 'buy', is sold at above offer , but AT trades are sold right on the offer.

Accumulation is going on by some basic algo hiding the big order .

Watch a holding RNS when its all over , or this is the prelude to a big buyer or Wembley announcement. All I know is that the ordinary PI is letting this get away cheaply . Once again .

Does anyone know what these small AT trades are all about ? There's quite a lot. I remember a similar pattern around 1 or 2 years ago before a nice rise.

Still trading at a massive discount to NAV despite the great news on Greenwich and impending news on Wembley . Crazy

Hi Aberdare,

Brucie5 may come along to answer your Q - alternatively, you could go to 'Financials' at the top of the page and click on it, where you can see for yourself...

Spectacular long term chart, but I'm going to be waiting to see how/if it drops back. Is there any reason why the share price should not regain the glory days of 2007, or has there been massive dilution?

Yes, but they appear to have finally got the business on track.
