03/1/2012 12:56 | A lot of volume today, not sure what to make of it, hope it's a precursor to some good news. | zeuseq
30/12/2011 17:56 | Seems to be in an uptrend again. Going up by small amount each day. | bene449

16/12/2011 17:06 | It would be interesting to hear the Company's comments on the following press report. One notes that day-to-day management of the Wembley project was with Shattock and is now with James. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | ![]() quepassa
15/12/2011 20:30 | Certainly sounds as though there may be a buyer in the market ZE. | smudgeroo
15/12/2011 14:08 | All I see is relentless DMA AT selling the last two days, but the share price is holding for now, must be someone on the other side of the trade buying. What few AT buys there is seem to trigger a rapid rise in the offer to 37/37.5p so perhaps someone has placed a big buy order to mop those sells | zeuseq
08/12/2011 12:11 | Likewise. Sorry to hear about your loss. | ![]() 911man

08/12/2011 00:43 | Far from it....I have just arrived back from a 16 hour round trip to Lancashire for my cousins funeral so not feeling up to too much right now. In any event I set up tens of these meetings and presentations and hope that some of the other attendees will find the time to do a short report on them ! Only fair really ! I have a busy day all day Thursday so do not depend on me. | ![]() davidosh

05/12/2011 16:45 | I would have been interested, but Tuesdays (and Mondays) are rarely easy for me these days (family commitments). I only have a small position tucked away for the longer term - but enought to justify the train fare and cold weather :-) | ![]() rbcrbc
05/12/2011 16:34 | Nobody at all from here interested in meeting the directors tomorrow morning then ? Rather poor. There used to be a very healthy discussion board here. Have you all given up and sold ? | ![]() davidosh
02/12/2011 15:05 | davidosh Well done... just wish I could be there as this does seem very good value. Mind you some analysts are not so keen.... | ![]() 911man
02/12/2011 12:16 | I have arranged a meeting with the directors for a results presentation next Tuesday at 11am at the Quintain HQ if any of you are interested in coming ? | ![]() davidosh
02/12/2011 11:53 | The recent HALF-YEAR PRESENTATION on the QED web-site contains some very good photos of what is going on at Wembley and Greenwich. In listening to the recording of the Analyst Presentation to be found equally on web-site, a few comments from the limited Q&A session:- - Wyatt sounded, and said his advisers were, bullish, about funding prospects for LDO. - Max James said words to the effect that the Hilton was the obvious next candidate to bring to market in the planned re-cycling of capital at Wembley -Max James commented on an uptick in letting at the LDO now that several anchor tenants are in place and with completion due in less than two years in October 2013 and few other shopping malls under construction. -When asked about profile of next tenants at LDO after recent signings of GAP and NIKE, Max James referred to the market-positioning of LDO as "Top of Market just under Bicester" ALL IMO. 30/11/2011 07:48 | FT to-day Page 24. Article by Ed Hammond, property correspondent, on Quintain results yesterday. The article ends with an FT Comment which includes the following :- "...At just under 40p, they sit at a hefty 75% discount to net asset value, compared with 61% at the start of the year. The sector trades at a 20% discount to net assets.Even factoring the risk of land and development, the gap looks too wide." ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | ![]() quepassa
29/11/2011 20:08 | red army....They do not need to find buyers !? The student accomodation has been pre sold. They just need to complete the project to pass GO and collect their reward. As for the Hilton Hotel....must be one of the best names in the industry so it will be easy to sell on with an excellent long term lease. The Civic Centre must be an easy one to sell on too. The projects need to be completed first though. Banks will be aware of the situation and the gearing will reduce quickly when half of the Wembley site is up and running. Lack of easy funding just makes it a slower project with longer timescales but the value should remain especially if the LDO gets started within the next few months. | ![]() davidosh
29/11/2011 16:10 | Bank gearing going to 79% whether long or short term is higher than most people feel comfortable with these days and future asset sale values are by no means guaranteed hence the nervousness. | ![]() red army |
