It was a train - the QTI pathetic directors gravy train as they flashed by with their pocketed salaries.

Even if the company relists will anybody ever trust any one of this "management" (had to put that in quotes!)? Who could possible believe that there's an ounce of care or consideration for shareholders during all this?

i think about 25k which is half as much as they got for the whole of last year!! They are still alive and reverse takeover being worked through at the moment so maybe some light at the end of the tunnel.

This latest order should get the half-yearly revenues into triple figures. I expect that this year's directors' bonuses have just been secured on the back of it.

Be fair!?!

Spurrier arrived in Oct '08 so had considerable time to find her feet. Instead we had a sequence of bumbling RNSs of Harry Offer forgetting to mention that he held shares, not one but two EGMs for the share rebasing debacle, the letter of intent which evaporated to nought. I wouldn't call that sorting out the mess - I'd call it rubbing salt in investor wounds. This lot are pathetic and should be removed from AIM directorship.

Be fair, finn capital put in barbara spurier to sort out the mess!

I can only stand back in amazement now she has found a way of rescuing something from the disaster she found. Yes, it is doubtful current shareholders will see much, if anything, from whatever emerges.

the leson I learned is not to back people who failed before and those who
believe they are gods gift to investors daft enough to take a risk.

I agree fully with all that you said - it's a total self-indulgent sham to generate such pathetic revenue and rack up such costs on a product that's been brought to market. No genuine explanation why it failed so badly, no apology for their pathetic achievements, no indication that they took a cut in pay, etc, etc.. I don't know who the new people are, but as soon as they're appointed all the old guard should be kicked a long way into touch.

Interesting. ALD has been trying to float here for years. I've met them before. They had not much of a business case (albeit it was about 3 years ago) and no real revenues to speak of. They did swimming pool leak detection and had a licensing model and I didn't think they'd make much impact here as there are few pools in UK and their business model looked far from sustainable.

Do people think that the (potential) reverse takeover of American Leak Detection by QTI is good news? I assume it must be, but...

Looks like QTI shareholders will be able to trade their shares again if the negotiations conclude successfully, that should be a relief. At what price though I've no idea as there's already been a dilution and they're already talking of a larger fundraising "Proposed Placing" to follow.

Under normal circumstances they'd have had to issue their prelims to end-June by end-Dec. otherwise they'd be suspended. Presumably, even though they're already suspended, they have to make an announcement anyway giving a reason for the non-appearance.

Would be nice to hear something, their behaviour continues to be no less than wholly disrespectful to shareholders. Just because you ask for the company to be suspended it doesn't mean that investors don't need to be kept informed!

Read this article and learn how the lunatics in the Labour party ruined our dear country. Next time you hear someone can't get their kids into the school of choice or there is not enough housing or hospital beds are full or the police haven't enough man power to cope or wonder why suddenly we haven't enough space in our prisons you will know why.
