30/7/2009 19:46 | Signing off cheerio all! | toad6
30/7/2009 19:27 | I really hope ddlooker's laughing woman never works for a UK plc again. What kind of low-life authorises the issuing of a positive "letter of intent" RNS to encourage investors to buy shares just days before the money was due to run out? mhw29965, Even though we've had our differences of opinion I'm glad to hear that you didn't lose it all. Better luck elsewhere. | gogoneko
30/7/2009 11:20 | I wonder if our pal ddlooker or mhw will have the courage to sign off and admit their ineptitude? | toad6
30/7/2009 11:08 | "The Company was notified on 1 July 2009 that, following a recent sale of shares, Mike Tapia no longer has a notifiable holding in the issued share capital of the Company." He showed his true colours! | gogoneko
30/7/2009 10:41 | Sorry about this news but it did look to be on the cards. There did seem such promise under Mike Topia, I'm afraid no one measured up after that and the water industry contact's were all lost. | inside2
30/7/2009 09:27 | Banks are lending again so whatever product or potential QTI have has no confidence I am afraid to say. | sagem

30/7/2009 08:47 | Its not all over until the fat lady sings......I know now that she has done all the singing and its all over for good....company totally broke. | sagem
30/7/2009 08:31 | The inevitable has happened and what a relief that finally nobody can invest in this financial disaster. We'll have to see what happens next, but I think it's gone for good along with no hope of any future return to investors. | gogoneko
30/7/2009 08:00 | was always a leaky venture this one. the share reorganisation fiasco was a prime example. | still waiting
30/7/2009 07:33 | RNS OUT NOT ABLE TO GET HOLD OF ANY CASH......SHARES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED........... | sagem
24/7/2009 12:02 | I don't think they have any assets unless you count goodwill and I'm not sure what that's worth in this business... | toad6
24/7/2009 11:52 | It's bad news no doubt and perhaps something the funders had been waiting to hear. I expect that they're considering more carefully now whether any assets QTI have left to pawn do actually have any value and whether it's prudent to loan against them. | gogoneko
24/7/2009 11:04 | Reality bites hard. It just goes to show that regulators are more focussed on consumer needs (and it's associated backlash) rather than unrealistic targets that are out of their control... | toad6
24/7/2009 10:55 | The water companies say they will have to cut back on leakage targets to meet the regulators demand for price cuts. | inside2
23/7/2009 12:59 | Ofwat's announcement today doesn't look too helpful for QTI's cause : "Ofwat calls for lower water bills Water companies' bids to raise prices between 2010 and 2015 have been snubbed by regulator Ofwat, which wants average household bills to fall instead." "Initial indications suggest the draft determination may not allow us to deliver what our customers want in the future. For example, this means we will not be able to reduce leakage at all over the next five years," said David Owens, chief executive for Thames Water - the UK's largest water company. | gogoneko
21/7/2009 21:37 | Not that I'd encourage anyone to take much notice of Hoodless Brennan, but QTI get a mention : Or maybe : (anyway, it's the 13-17 July small caps!) | gogoneko
19/7/2009 17:06 | Pathetic! It sounds like a certain greenhorn needs to dry his eyes quickly and face up to the situation or move on. He should be asking himself whether he should be posting comments on an investment bulletin board if tears start to well up in his eyes because he doesn't like to read negative comment backed by reason on a share he only invested in less than a fortnight ago. He obviously didn't even bother to read the comments on this thread in the weeks/months prior to investing and only once he buys the shares has he promoted himself to the post of purveyor of truth and ambassador of decency on behalf of QTI. In the absence of a trading update (ironic considering it would have assisted shareholders greatly to have known prior to voting at the EGM(s) whether the disastrous H1 performance of management has been reversed or not and therefore whether it's sensible to be keeping corporate snouts firmly in the trough another X months...., presumably not as the company's currently on its knees) we'll have to wait and see the results because irrespective of what may happen to me (which nobody would care about, not even me) it's not me whose actions dictate the company's results - and that's what matters. | gogoneko
19/7/2009 12:24 | Defamation - I love it. "Right, I'm telling on you!" "Criminally deramped", that's a new one. .....I'm loving them both though. My guess is dd is between 12 and 16 years old. | toad6
19/7/2009 10:11 | Insider saying something bad about the company. Youre have to filter yourself for that dear chap. | takeatip
18/7/2009 20:55 | You don't hold shares gogenko. You have deliberately & criminaly de-ramped this share. I have only posted rns news, articles from the companies website,in fact any articles re-lating to the company in support. Everyone knows that this company along with many others are reliant on funding or they go bust that is plain and stated in compant rns. Barbara Spurrier has been notified of your defamation of her character. I have personally emailed your discusting derogative posts to her and hope she contacts ADVFN and/or the police. | ddlooker
18/7/2009 16:58 | Crock! The reality is that frequently "shareholders" like you (i.e. a claim which is valid for just the few days of pumping before the inevitable dumping) come and go and in the process spam the board with badly flawed arguments and an obvious lack a knowledge which deserves some exposure. At the end of the day your cause was missing two important factors: 1) Your inability to put forward a convincing argument, and, 2) You're backing what is a very badly performing company and management. As such you were always likely to find it difficult to put forward persuasive case for buying the shares - but I'm sure some have bought having read your posts. That's not to say that the shares can't reach a multiple on the upside of where they are today, but equally there could be an announcement on Monday morning saying that the company is being placed into administration - and not once did you acknowledge that or warn anybody that that is the case. Now however, to anyone following this board, it's obvious that as well as rewards there's also a big risk of losing everything if they choose to invest in QTI at this point - but I really doubt you'd care in the slightest if that happened. | gogoneko |
