01/3/2016 15:19 | Absolutely right TF. About what you others will pay, not always its intrinsic value at time t.Their loss. | moopdoom
01/3/2016 14:16 | Different conversation, Trend. Nobody is disputing the trend and the fact that punters have made some great gains here and looking at the techs it would be perhaps foolish to take out a short at this juncture Questions is when is the reverse kicking in | hillofwad
01/3/2016 13:59 | One day people will learn price action is all that matters, I have not bothered to look at the website whilst its making higher highs Im long, having an opinion has prevented some people from make 40% gains which is embarrassing. Opinions are often wrong.... | trendfollow
01/3/2016 11:05 | Kmann Yes they are they have sold a dummy to the other online offers but I dont think that agents who usually are an entrepreneurial lot are going to let bricks pinch their business without a fight. It wont be too long before some negligence claim of poort advice fromthe hybrids comesinto play Valuing ahouse is a litle bit different from your average online product and the "experts" really are a mixed crew Market doesnt think so mind with another share price shoot today | hillofwad
01/3/2016 10:23 | Agree the network, names, and expertease is there for "traditional" to convert. Who goes to an agent to look at property now? It makes sense for traditionals to downsize their operations, and go fixed fee with add-ons. Some do fixed fee local to me, some percentage based, some try harder than others to sell. Depends what the client wants. But PB are way ahead of the game. I've heard talk of a super conglomerate of local agents coming together to form a national competitor. You could see it coming anyway imo. | kmann
29/2/2016 20:08 | going to be so many hybrids no barrier to entry really | dlku
29/2/2016 18:41 | Kmann Probably Zoopla or Rightmove .Platform and local agents who are actually expert already in place Will be able to offer a similar "service "at a cheaper cost than Bricks.Agents will bee well up for it as half their inspections with vendors are abortive trips anyway giving free valuations A couple of hundred for the initial advice will probably be welcome The local agents can then agree with the vendors additional tariffs to reflect their involvement -accompanied viewings .building surveys etc etc To be honest once thru the door if the agent cant sell these services to the client they only have themselves to blame Bish Bosh bricks straight back down the old pecking order with the likes of Emoov | hillofwad
29/2/2016 14:57 | "Short hard and short now."Time to average up fellas? Plenty of buyers out there apparently. Fill your boots. | moopdoom
28/2/2016 21:33 | Well this has had a better run than I expected. I like the ad campaign, seems better than the opposition. SP looked a bit nervous the other day though, any weakness will have shorts all over it. 90p support imo. Who is the next hybrid online only agent to list? | kmann
26/2/2016 07:42 | Rightmove results very impressive indeed .Mention of monitoring any percived threats and constanly natly looking to improve th eoffer to both home hunters and clients alike The very fact that Pile of have chosedn their platform to advertise their wares speaks for itself. The infrastructure is already there so no huge cost barrier to prevent them from seamlessly providing a similar service for what would effectively be petty cash | hillofwad
26/2/2016 00:57 | You lot were calling this a short ~80p. 45p higher you're still calling it a short.Another 50p higher from here it'll be an even bigger short. ;) | moopdoom
25/2/2016 23:22 | moopdoom - only 45 trades in the day and you call it price ACTION? over rated online listing service, sell. | moneysage
25/2/2016 07:19 | smoke and mirror bunch of spivs. just had dealings with them and know i wouldn't let them sell a dolls house. ezie conveyancing, premier lawyers are quite simply inept. | honeywell2
25/2/2016 06:08 | Flow? This is a gamblers stock | dt1010
24/2/2016 20:20 | Surprised by price action today. These fools shorting likely going to get torn to pieces; market off >1%, FOXT off more than >4% and PURP up >7%.Flow speaks for itself. | moopdoom
24/2/2016 13:10 | sub 100p ??? now 126p and rising. | tyranosaurus
24/2/2016 08:21 | Absolutely hillofwad. | 3rd eye
24/2/2016 07:14 | Yes probably move back up again in the short term but..... Rightmove with all the resources available to them will no doubt be introducing some measures shortly to stop bricks firmly in their tracks at half the cost and using real local property experts their signed up members consigning bricks to the also rans A dismal incrase in instructions have arrived after a cash chewing saturated advertising campaigh | hillofwad
23/2/2016 22:06 | Back down to sub 100p this dog goes hahahaha | dt1010
23/2/2016 20:49 | I managed to double my holding on the retrace today, first real retrace to buy on for me. Have to take these opportunities when they present themselves I think. Lucky I spotted the pull back while at work. | duncan doughnut
23/2/2016 20:23 | Looks one of the best shorts around now. Poor quality IPO offering, all other estate agents have moved now to close the temporary advantage this one had. Short and short hard. | 3rd eye |
