When this is as overvalued as the costs of traditional estate agents fees will be the time to worry....

whymps, it's one of Bulkowski's chart patterns. See here for more info, ID guidelines, target setting, etc.

In order for the pattern to be confirmed the share price needs an eod close above the highest point, including the flagpole.

I'm not sure of yesterdays closing price.

One of the risk factors in trading this kind of pattern is that being near the ath, the share price is facing resistance

Trend Dont be caught out. One day very soon Rightmove or significant A N Other will announce a service in conjunction with their existing estate agent client base of real experts ofering offer the private house seller a tariff of services to buy into without a chunky upfront payment. The cost for them to set this new service will be relatively insignificant as they already have the infrastructure in place Furthermore they will make it onerusly expensive for Bricks to advertise their ares and then you will see some real price action

Scan Internet estate agents are here to stay no question about that one . Its just the hybrid model that purplebricks is promoting as something groundbreaking is anything but and easily copied especially by Rightmove and zoopla It was only a question of time that the service by the so called experts would be brought into question Mine is particuarly usless. The directors as pointed out who were fairly average Brun suburbs estate agents have hit the jackkpot getting the investors on board Good luck to them producing the goods is another story completely

@Scanjet17 - you are missing the point entirely. This is not just a case of "teething problems". This systematic cover-up of negative reviews and manipulation of this kind shows that the people running this company can not be trusted. This is a question of "Character" & "Ethics". Two things these chaps are clearly deficiencient of. The bottom line is this - When you sell your house, do you really want to put yourself and your family's future in the hands of people with a track record for dishonesty? For that matter, when you invest money, do you really want to back people that are so blatently out to "game" the public. If they'll game their customers, no doubt they will game their investors too. This all smells really really bad and I knew that as soon as I saw the directors pocket £30m on the day of the float.

LOL - Desperation is setting in!
Any startup has customers who don't receive the planned for experience. The Beta testers identify them i.e. the early adopters..
Was it the Post Office years ago urging people to use the postal service? - emails will never catch on! LOL
And what about the global demand for personal computers 30 years ago? I'll leave you to research that one.
Keep buying.

Yep their experts are anything someare t ex mobile phone salesmen with a 2 week intensive course and they are instant chartered surveyors One of the criticisms in the link is perhaps a little s unfair just because the buyer had difficuty in getting a mortgage for a flying freehold is no fault of purplebricks they should look towards their own mortgage adviser or solicitor

There is a storm coming!!!

Accusations that PB are manipulating reviews on Trustpilot and paying unhappy customers to remove negative reviews....

Thye have managed to kick over the 6,000mark for the first time so probably been averaging 2300pcm since the float Need also to take into acount taht proeprties are hanging around longer making the total look overly impressive 50% of the instructions in my local area have been on for over 5 months The lettings side hasnt taken off at all although their advertising camapaign has been geared toward sales Maybe they will comence yet another expensive rollout for this sideof the business
