Don't think Purplebricks would be the seller agent of choice if you're trying to promote new builds, especially at a premium end. Would send the wrong signal

One area that Bricks have failed to make much traction is new build instructions

They collect a number of instructions from small developers and jobbing builders but yet to crack any of the bigger fish

Unliklely to unless they improve their customer offer but certainly potential to farm

Going against the main market trend this morning is a good sign that the sector is bullish.

MM's pausing for breath and trying to collect stock from stale bulls, however it's not working at present. Move to 100p and beyond coming sooner than later.

There's clearly a false sense of doom in the media regarding the effects of covid on the economy. I know of certain retail and manufacturing industries that cannot cope with demand at present. Households are clearly sitting on cash after lockdown and are spending it on their house in one form or another. PURP are very fortunate to be the position they are in.

In the wake of yesterday's upbeat US housing numbers, John Authers in his Bloomberg comment today quotes analysts as saying there's a housing boom due across the Atlantic. Yes, you wouldn't believe it but low rates are the clear catalyst here. Oh and he also mentions US lumber futures which are 'going through the roof'. Draw your own conclusions. What with planning rules easing here, it's not hard to see planning permissions becoming easier to obtain. Lots of new builds going up where I live. Councils do not want to be seen standing in the way of much needed residential housing projects.

The sector in the UK is strong despite predictions to the contrary. And US housing starts were better than expected in July.

PURP withheld any forward guidance on results announcement. As the picture clears regarding covid, I would expect further news on the trading front at some point. The news will undoubtedly be positive for them and all shareholders.

I'm holding every single share until next trading update which will be the best in the company's history. Let's see what Downing does in the meantime, think some corporate action will also unfold shortly.

Well nothing like a bit of sentiment to get this spinning Just shuffled a few out of the door ,still holding onto a few and every chance this will go to £1 Very happy to put some hay in the barn

Not confident this current set of BODS can take full advantage of the lucky position they find themselves in

Every chance instructions will get back up to FY 19 levels August so far 20% up on 2019 but below 2018

Looks like all the positive news has killed off the doomsters on this thread. These are deservedly heading back over 100p and more likely to settle around 120p. PURP is in far better shape than pre-lockdown and the next update will state that their market share is increasing once again.

Amazing figures, market 38% up this July in comparison to last July. With the online model they have, PURP are in prime position to benefit.

I've had so mny people tell me the market is nuts right now... I can't understand it, but it seems to be.

This will hit £1, then I'll drop a few.

Stamp duty holiday and ultra low interest rates will keep the property market bubbling over for a while yet.
