11/6/2020 21:56 | "Former Purplebricks boss launches industry foundation to ‘give something back’ Purplebricks founder Michael Bruce has launched a foundation today that seeks to improve the mental and business well-being of estate agents across the UK. 11/6/2020 21:39 | Actually, seems to be from sky news sources. If correct could really give a boost. | beeks of arabia
11/6/2020 21:35 | Have you got a link to that? | beeks of arabia
11/6/2020 21:30 | Woodfords 10.8% stake taken by fund management Co led by George Soros | ellemaitch
10/6/2020 20:14 | Plenty of Internet based signs going up around my area, if traditionals think they can charge 1%-2% in financially strained post covid times they are very wrong.Pb have to take advantage and will imo, I'm staying long. | 7rademark
10/6/2020 15:06 | they won't be better than expected..... Brexit, general election, uncertainty, covid,..... wish i'd have opened a short at 60p | 1giraffetrader
10/6/2020 14:01 | Poor results can still propel the share price forward if they are better than expected, interesting pb are advertising atm, a company will usually only advertise when they are market confident, advertising through poor conditions or poor sales is not as good idea. As we have seen here before. | 7rademark
10/6/2020 12:11 | I dumped half yesterday, because I think results will be out for the last 6 soon. But will pick it up again soon D | dennisbergkamp
10/6/2020 12:02 | I think this will get back to a quid no prob. Business model is good. Volumes will be awful for a long time now, U.K. in a very bad way with brexit even before covid fiasco, bricks and mortar agents who are both cxxp and expensive are toast, all the high st agents do is whack the stuff on rightmove anyway, why pay 5k to sell a house when you can sell it for 800 quid. Defo worth a punt at this level. | porsche1945
10/6/2020 11:42 | Back in for a punt at a gnats widgy under 54p. | beeks of arabia
10/6/2020 09:54 | Advertising started up again. For me, the only way is up. Come on the housing market. | scottish007
08/6/2020 09:13 | Good luck guys. On a fundamental basis, the likes of Asos, Just Eat, Tesla etc have massive investment, a market stranglehold, a genius. Purp has none of these things!!! What's more the founders bailed. Don't forget the impending High St rent crash is going to be good news for agents, who have minimal shop fittings. I've not personally had a single ad from Purp in this lockdown, reckon most people will have forgotten them by now... | ltcm1
08/6/2020 08:44 | Purp imo had bottomed out at 100p, then covid came along, certainly vulnerable to a bid at this price so I'm holding on. | 7rademark
08/6/2020 08:12 | Good luck all hope this goes on to rocket for you I was happy with my price target. | fund1
08/6/2020 08:09 | At some point today I will move some funds to Mai short term there £3 medium term £4 | fund1
08/6/2020 08:07 | Well it's past my target price. Will check later today. Well done to all those that got in low 30s when I said price target was 60p but some laughed. | fund1
07/6/2020 18:23 | 7T, I agree, rising price on strong volume does suggest something is occurring, a corporate action maybe? Axel Springer I wonder? | andy
04/6/2020 14:33 | Regarding my post #1523 yesterday... just look at MPH! I couldn't have timed that any better looking at the performances today. If only there were more days like this :) | 1nf3rn0
04/6/2020 10:40 | Something going on in the background here, look at the volume Apr 10 to may 10 then compare it with this month. May 10th onward. | 7rademark
04/6/2020 10:07 | Sold just over half of my holding, now running profits. There is chart commentary over on the SHA thread from user Ptolemy. | beeks of arabia
04/6/2020 10:06 | 7T, "Or at the very least offer local area specialists within their main call centre." --- That wouldn't work otherwise they'd have to bring people from all around the country to wherever their call centre is...... A LPE is exactly that, an expert in his local area, in theory at least. | andy
04/6/2020 09:40 | London is a no brainer for pb, I own rentals in Lincoln, traditionals are dropping like flies here, pb has to play on the traditionals greed, if they can find a way to match their service then they have a chance, why not open a pb agent in each town, offer it as an add on service and have the best of both worlds. Or at the very least offer local area specialists within their main call centre.Grandads and nanas will walk into a traditional every time at the moment, that has to change. | 7rademark
04/6/2020 09:28 | Another good day here. Could be a great long term story.Hopefully some of you also got into SDRY or MNZS after I highlighted them yesterday - both also up over 10% today. The next one 'to pop' I think will be TED after their 75p placing is out of the way in a few weeks time. One to add to the watch list. I see these 3 as more short term trading opps versus long term holds. | 1nf3rn0
04/6/2020 09:12 | Yes, i've tried to short many disrupters and some obvious shorting candidates....many end in failure. GOOG on results night back in 2003 was a particularly bad experience, although the long road to hell of carpetright was like death by a thousand knives! | beeks of arabia |
