Rog talk to me!!!

The point about buying CWD is they would take out a large amount of opposition in one hit and would create huge critical mass. I really don't think they will get from their current diddly squat to market leader through organic growth. It will simply take too long.

Having some offices will massively increase their brand awareness too. Not everybody watches More4 and Home you know.

and bricks and mortar, which is expensive

what a moron!

I am not going to waste anymore time talking to trolls on here, which is maybe why you have driven me to this level of boredom!

Rog,

But the high st agents have been using the interweb thingy to advertise properties for years!

They got there before PURP was created!

The only difference is semantics.............

Good for them. But first mover advantage and scale are everything. It all about scale and brand.

Rog,

But the point you are missing is your traditional agent is also putting his properties on 'digital' already!

The only difference is how the 'fee' is decribed.....

No, because the future is digital. That's why Murdoch is selling 21CF.

Well he ain't called Nicky Numb Nuts for nothin'.

Interesting question. Last time it went to 300 you bought more Rog. Are you minded to do so again???

Serious question. Rather than spend millions on TV ads in the UK, wouldn't they be better off buying Countrywide, or at least parts of it???

Yes, and JP Morgan put a "buy" recommendation on Carillion in 2017 with a target of 275p. Mistakes are made.

There's a difference. Shorting the FTSE is expensive (the difference between dividends and interest rates). Shorting PURP is cheap - it pays no dividends and seems unlikely to do so in the time frame of the intended holding period of those shorting it. So even if BBMS is incorrect on timing, that's no solace for you!

Buywell,

If May remains, sadly so will we, she has hoisted the white flag already without even trying to negotiate.

We will be tied to the EU, all the disadvantages, and none of the advantages, what a mess she has made of it!

................. UK rates and Debt set to rise ...............

UK is now undergoing inflation , which due to China is set to increase

The UK Mr and Mrs J Bloggs have just been giving the credit cards some welly
What with the World Cup , new TV's , new Barbies for the hot weather, and lots of booze and fast food

A recipe for a very poor second half

Plus we are now looking at a Hard BREXIT as May loses the plot as well as her marbles

48 votes by Friday

We need a new PM that voted BREXIT

Possible 6% plus on GDP as USA , Australia, Canada and New Zealand trade deals more than DOUBLE the current Trade surplus the UK runs with the USA

The UK currently runs a BIG trade deficit with the EU

I give the EU another 10 years Max after the UK leaves if it does a Hard BREXIT

Which is why all those EU Negotiators are hitting the bottle and playing Mr Nasty

They are in absolute panic mode
