Beauuk............Hey I am not alone, here I was feeling like Robinson Crusoe. Yes I agree the method of returning cash looks so complicated, but hey who cares, 18p a share buy back thats worth over a grand to me, and there I was thinking all was lost. If they buy back the shares at less than we paid, which in my case is quite probable, since I bought in at day one, then I cannot see that I would have any tax liability ?

Yipee....

Hi squaddie... you're not quite alone, I read a lot but don't write very often. Let's hope we get a bit more interest in the future now they're finally giving us back something. Beats me why they couldn't have just started to pay a dividend like other companies....I presume that all the big shareholders (who look after their own interests) are 50% tax payers, so want capital gains @ 28% instead! I suppose we can't blame them for that, but surely if Psg was paying regular dividends its share price would rise accordingly and both they and us would have potential capital gains as well as income. Perhaps that's just too simple!
P.S. I think that £5 million is more like 18 pence per share (Issued shares total 27,533,240 at 31 March 2011).

andrbea. Seems like its just me left. But with £5m to be used to buy back shares, then it could spark a bit more intrest. I think £5m equals about 8p per share ?.

Same here. Bought when they first floated and added a few more later. Almost wrote them off, but looks like we might yet have some prospects. The company had about £3 m cash at last report and was ltalking about returning that to shareholders, it will be intresting to see how much profit the £11m order gives, and if that allows some of the cash to be returned, or if it allows extra business to be bought. In all a very intresting time.

Anyone else left holding. Views on this rise?. Could it be the new 20% holders building a buy out level stake?. Hello......... anyone!.

Midas. Agree even the cash pot is shrinking. I thought last year was bad, but to now record a "real" loss is grim. Prehaps its time to abandon ship with the rest of the Rats.

Good to see the CEO putting £72,000 of his own cash into the company. Prehaps he is intending to return some of that cash back to share holders?. Whatever the reason a nice vote of confidence.

Problem you have with share buyback is very limited free float. You also need the larger holders to want to play ball regarding returning cash. As long as they are happy with it I don't see why 2m or so couldn't be returned in one form or another.

The next question is not how much cash they will return, but how they intend to do it........if they intend to start paying a dividend, they could have done it now.......if you look at the agenda for the AGM, you will notice that there is a proposal to authorise the company to purchase up to 40% of its existing issued share capital. A share buy-back is often referred to as "returning cash to shareholders" because it creates a new buyer in the market and can push the share price up considerably - to the benefit of all shareholders. In the case of a company such as PSG (which does not have a very active market) a vigorous buy-back programme could send the share price soaring even if such purchases fall short of the 40% for which they are seeking authority.

Wouldn`t it be nice if the directors were a bit more concerned with keeping their shareholders informed!

Hello......Anyone still here ?. Final results due in a couple of weeks, don,t expect these to set the world alight, but with £4.111 million in net assets and still profitable ( I hope ) despite the housing market, this has got to be worth more tha 23p a share !. The death of HIPS must help.

According to ADVFN this has a Net Asset Share Price of 0.68p. Yet we trade at 20p ?. Seems crazy to me.

Anyone have any views on the results ?. Another £1.33m in the bank, I thought they where respectable given the downturn in the houseing market. We now have over £3m in cash, does this not increase the posibility of a take over, and if so at what price?.
