11/3/2008 12:37 | Something is going on here. The share price is moving too much on low volume for it not to be news related. | fido
22/2/2008 16:20 | The sale of all their 5.5m shares @70p by the Hesters some 7 months ago looks like a good move in retrospect ! | masurenguy
20/2/2008 16:31 | Another 75,000 shares bought back in which presumably should help a bit. And we certainly need some help here !! | truffle
12/2/2008 23:50 | You will have noted todays RNS abou Bob Mortons Southwind vehicle picking up another 108,000 shares in PGS. I cannot remember whether that is the third or fourth time he has topped up in PGS but his stake is now 16.20%. Mr Morton is a canny investor and his continued topping up of this share shows that he sees real value in it. | fido
12/2/2008 23:16 | An evil one, this | thefordprefect
08/2/2008 08:45 | Have to say, the accounts look very good for PGS, am interested but wouldn't normally invest in such a small Market Cap Co. Will be watching for any turn around here. | hannabella
06/2/2008 16:17 | Anyone know why these shares have dropped about 10% in the past month? Makes the Hester sale a few months ago look a sensible decision after all. | truffle
14/1/2008 16:25 | Another article in to-day's Daily Mail suggesting Tchenguiz has lost a bundle, probably in the 100's of millions. If he sold his PGS stake it was surely to raise cash. | truffle
10/1/2008 17:27 | Groundlink ltd is the investment vehicle of PGS`s Iranian investor. With HIP`s and interest rates on the way down you can see what this investment is all about. | fido
10/1/2008 16:46 | Groundlink ltd has acquired a 4% stake, who the hell is Groundlink? | androyd
08/1/2008 16:03 | This is not the first time that PGS have brought back their shares, and as you say it shows the confidence and cash generation of their business. As I said yesterday, NDH said that HIPS`s were providing good cashflow and as PGS have already taken a leading position in HIPS then this is going to mean good news. The large transaction of shares the other day could also mean that we have some positions being built. | fido
08/1/2008 14:56 | The company has just announced the re-purchase of 100,000 of its shares on 4th January which at least is a positive sign. | truffle
07/1/2008 13:58 | A look at the RNS from NDH today will show you that HIPS are turning out to be a bit of a money spinner. This is ofcourse what PGS always said they would be and with interest rates on the way down, that is something that is ONLY going to strenthen. | fido
04/1/2008 07:44 | Could you repeat that last message please, Fido? | truffle
03/1/2008 15:11 | Can anyone clarify whether this latest announcement has anything to do with the supposed Tchenguiz disposal? | truffle
29/12/2007 10:23 | That's a logical assumption but if correct then there must have been prearranged transactions with two buyers, including an agreed fee for the MM concerned to implement them, since all three were processed at the same price. | masurenguy
29/12/2007 09:58 | The way i see it is that the first trade was the Tchenguiz stake and the following two trades were buys, either two seperate buyers or the same buyer buying in seperate tranches. | androyd
29/12/2007 09:40 | Very difficult to know. There were just three large transactions yesterday for 3.5m, 1.5m and 2m, all reported at 67p. Make of that what you will ! | masurenguy
29/12/2007 00:49 | I may be wrong but it looks like the 3.5m shares sold on Friday have been re-purchased later in the day, hopefully, an RNS on Monday will put us in the picture. | androyd
28/12/2007 18:58 | If Tchenguiz is indeed selling, then it could be to do with the fact that there have been reports over the past few weeks that after the abortive bid for Sainsbury he was suffering a credit squeeze having purchased Sainsbury shares at a high level on the assumption that the bid would succeed and there would be a property play involved - now no longer likely in the foreseeable future. The general credit squeeze will not have helped either, of course. But, as I say, this is based on androyd's suggestion that it is Tchenguiz who has sold. | truffle
28/12/2007 16:05 | Where did you get that from - is there an RNS ? | masurenguy
28/12/2007 16:01 | It looks like Wheddon (V. Tchenguiz) have sold their 12.9% stake! | androyd
14/12/2007 18:27 | HIPS are now live on ALL housing types. | fido |
