Road, And it will get a serious rerate in time but the usual load of patience required. Amazing what a change of leadership can bring. To think most of us lot on here were crying out for Tone to walk the plank for at least the last 5 years to no avail.

It would appear that "What you Know" and "Who you Know" can be a quite effective combination for an Oil Exec.

The majority of the funding will be via the Norwegian Export Credit Facility. SpotOn Energy used as the vehicle to access it. No cheques in the post from China this time :)

Sr,Could be a 3 well campaign so best have the big fat wallets doing the financing and Providence with a 20% ticket stuffed in the pocket. Alan takes every opportunity to appeal to the Green fraternity and talk partnership/cooperation with them as that is the future. Go Green or go bust...

This just looks like a list of companies they would like to use on any development of Barryroe. Who provides the money? Do SpotOn have any money? We know PVR don't have any, but the money will have to come from somewhere. I hope for shareholders this is not just more of the same - rights issues, delays and disappointments. As always with PVR the management will continue to draw their very large wages, lets hope the current bunch actually deserve them.

herm: yes guess it will be 20% to PVR - but depends of course on the appraisal programme.

yes, I'm also convinced that this time it will be executed - very exiting.

Sr, APEC and Lars Windholm's Sequaa were just time wasters. The new consortium like our new CEO has industry credibility and move fast.

Sr, Would be happy to keep 20% of Barryroe and LOGP keep 5%. That would love this heavyweight consortium with plenty of skin in the game(75%) and a nice pile of cash for Providence and Lansdowne.

The new consortium is in another league (trustable)

with this world class consortium in place it will be very exiting to hear next about the appraisal program and how much of Barryroe PVR/LOGP will have when the deal is agreed.

The first part with the consortium is excellent.

Kibes, The details of the farmin to Barryroe from Spoton Energy are to be announced before end October. The likes of Schlumberger and Aker could well take a wee stake in Barryroe as well.

Kibes - no the consortium do the work - drilling etc. In return they get a stake in the Barryroe. It's like the Apec deal.
