06/12/2019 11:04 | The longer they waste time and resources on Barryroe, the longer the will fail to sieze the moment. Barryroe is a dead duck, ditch it and move on. Get some new projects asap! Cash | cashandcard
06/12/2019 10:56 | Positive News. Tor had to go, damaged goods Conditional to securing any new partner. Hopefully new CEO will shed more transparency and light regarding true state of Barryroe and what became of the fictitious partnership with Apec. Will want to get the last of any bad news out the way quickly with of plan of moving forward. Tony not out the woods yet, expect Plunkett to be all over him and every detail next couple of months. | feelbo2
06/12/2019 10:33 | Good luck to the corporate gigolo. The historic low share price speaks for itself.Best of luck to him all the same.He is human like ourselves. | raisethestake1
06/12/2019 09:24 | The folks who supported ToR, even when it was clear as daylight he was mugging everyone off, going from agm to agm, securing another year on the gravy train, those folks should be ashamed and offer an apology to all those they have attacked over the years for pointing out the obvious. They couldn't get funding/partnering at $100/bbl+ oil. The entire thing was a gravy train, PI's have been cleaned out. Funnily enough, this maybe the opportune moment to consider an investment ahead of a complete change of gameplan. Cash | cashandcard
06/12/2019 09:17 | He's left before the company goes bust, hoping to avoid some of the blame. He's cost many decent people a lot of money and doesn't give a toss. An absolute chancer who should be ashamed of himself. | hoper2
06/12/2019 08:51 | Wonder will TOR pop up again at EOG to fill vacancy there now that Hugh has resigned? | funtimejonny
06/12/2019 08:47 | set up for a buyout now, as he was blocking a bid. Could be very interesting leading up to xmas. | onehanded
06/12/2019 08:15 | herm; there was little evidence of 'industry credibility' displayed over the past year, particularly in respect of APEC deal where collectively the board, who approved the deal, were extremely naïve. | panadin
06/12/2019 08:03 | Has everyone stopped laughing yet . The only thing that guy delivered was failure and losing shareholders a fortune over the years . Calling barryroe anworld class asset had me doubled over laughing too . It's an asset nobody else wants or is interested in as has been proven I've the last 50 years when everyone who has drilled it has walked away . Even the Chinese weren't stupid enough to put any money into it and walked away . Given some dodgy outfit thought better of pumping money into this there is no chance anyone decent will ever come along and take it on . Better to focus on other assets as anything to do with barryroe will result in failure innthe long run . No doubt they will now proceed to desperately find a partner at any cost and wouldn't surprise me I they find one promising the earth in a deal but in the end will walk away again . Seems it's a game of false news to hype the share price but the reality is the deal is worthless and will never be delivered upon . The sooner this and logp are put into admin the better otherwise tour just going to wnd up paying incompetent managers more money in wages for delivering failure | bones698
06/12/2019 08:02 | They have not been open about how they ended up with the Chinese non-payers and why no money arrived. "I am extremely proud of all that we have achieved over the years"? | matt
06/12/2019 07:39 | I expect 700p by the end of the day. | ohisay
06/12/2019 07:38 | That's the only good news RNS that's come out of this company in years! Watch the share price double today. | funtimejonny
06/12/2019 07:38 | The old regime is gone and we are left with 2 members with loads of industry credibility and contacts | hermana3
06/12/2019 07:32 | About bloody time. | riley9
06/12/2019 07:31 | Bet the "Daves" will be marking this up today as we in play now | hermana3

06/12/2019 07:26 | Nephin or CNOOC | jusmasel99
06/12/2019 07:23 | Someone like ENI or BP? | hermana3
06/12/2019 07:20 | He may have been a stumbling block for a buy out? It would make sense to me if a bigger oil company came in and merged all the junior players in Ireland together. Have a look at Nephin Energy's website and their strategy. They have plenty of financial backing. | jusmasel99
06/12/2019 07:17 | Molatov, They were saying the same thing of big Hugh at Europa too. Wonder if old Brian O'Cathain will be approached lol | hermana3
06/12/2019 07:14 | Tone has not been able to close a Barryroe deal and that is what undone him and us. Pat and Angus must know some names who would relish a challenge!!!! | hermana3
06/12/2019 07:14 | More worryingly, why leave if they are on the verge of success? | molatovkid |
