I’m reading nothing into the price swings between 43-49p range. Easily manipulated. Lombard have recently increased and DBAY are in play. Trading update was fine, as expected. I’m happy to hold.

Not happening any time soon IMHO. I have low to zero expectations that the current BOD can haul this around. I am holding for a bid even as low as 60p to be rid of this for good.

Fair amount of stock available on a dummy buy.
Did a dummy sell too and no bid.

There is an overhang as someone or entity wants out.
DBAY might make hay.

1yr trend change now confirmed, need to get to 49.5p+ to change that back to positive.

I think I heard a Forecast in all of that BS though... over the next 18 months growing TCV from 8-10m per year to 32-40m in the next 18 months (replicating UK in France, Germany and the US). Right, Tim. We'll look forward to seeing that then.

The video is priceless Sykes fluff. I'm paraphrasing....
Q: So presumably a big H2, with this 2-3m of deferred orders?
A: Yes, they're deferred, ready to sign as soon as we come out of lockdown.

... then hurriedly adds....

... Hopefully. But the real game is Fy22.

FFS. What utter weak fluff. Has anyone here ever heard such vague bullsh*t from a public CEO? Come on.... this is painful. It really is "this time next year Rodney, we'll all be millionaires." Problem is, Rodney (Potts) will be dead by the time anything changes here.

If H2 doesn't come back strong there's a chance of running up the for sale flag again to be ready for the debt coming due 2022/3/4 ??

Alternative will be to isue more shares to address? A long way off, this is frustrating as in limbo until less lockdown impact.

Re-watch the interview and focus on 16:28 - 16:32 and watch Tim sykes roll his eyes. There's some information there.

Paul Hill stated another time that he doesn't own any PHD. I think he is waiting to see signs of the double digit growth. It will come but the last 6 months were a wash and the debt has gone up. If H2 isn't positive enough this is going nowhere as they look like having seen debt incease on the back of expecting an "as usual" more positive H2 vs H1 we've just seen.

Frustrating to say the least, I still hold a wadge of these.

If they need to downsize further it will cost and that may be more borrowing to cover it.

Ruddy thing has just broken 1yr trend line and flagged as sell. 2yr OK. No mojo.

PE firms similar to those who bought JAGGAER could be interested. May even get it for 75p, 50% premium on year high. Shareholders will be getting restless.

Very slow progress on BePayd, maybe a factor for Anthony Persse leaving, he didn’t come across a great sales person, perhaps too nice. Seems to be gaining (abit) of traction since he left though and hopefully it’s just a slow burner.

And we’re celebrating signing our first two bepayd contracts. What’s that, 12-18 months after the fanfare launch?
I’m going to put my head in the oven.

Shockingly bad. Every other vendor in this space has reported Covid as a tailwind not a headwind, as companies double down on cost cutting and resiliency programmes. Something doesn’t add up if Phd are going the other way. Has everyone else been lucky, or is this a monumental failure?

Going forwards as the economy opens up I see plenty of potential here especially in the US where I think they have a massive opportunity.

I was actually encouraged by the tcv performance in H1 under the circumstances and the fact we didn’t drop the usual 10% after trading update was a plus for me.

Issue is performance elsewhere in the market as UK recovers if Proactis doesn't achieve the same as others or better - money won't come here, it will head elsewhere. Saw the interview last night and towards the end I thought Sykes gave off a worried vibe. Granted, it might have been me being tired, but certainly he was not ebullient at points and especially towards the end.

Noted debt dates, a lot can happen before then. It had better else bills come due.

May be another RNS due confirming the identity of yesterday’s buyer. If it was Lombard it will follow shortly.

Everyone has their reasons for selling. For me I see a lot of upside here from todays price, be it independently or a takeover. I sold a batch of 12k I bought at 21p last April for 49p a couple of weeks ago as I needed the cash, but I continue to hold quite a few and won't be thinking of selling until it gets somewhere near £1.10.

Can understand that decision, especially if not able to wait another 9 months or so. There's no rushing this and the low hanging profit fruit in the share price has already been plucked.

However, it is worth having some exposure as when this does prove it's OK it's heading to £1+ imho.

I've sold out at near break even for me with the increase in debt not looking good for a recovery. If they were generating cash then it would be falling. The only hope for a profit is a takeover imo, but at what price?
