If you want to maintain a holding here post TU then take care with your stops. Arcontech, just an example, got hit today even though results are expected to be inline with market expectations and a dividend still expected.

Depending on wording, Proactis could be hammered if TU is badly received,

Forget dividend for at very least 6 months.

My concern is if the positives are given then the market knows and they are already in the price.

However, we could get a positive surprise. Certainly any big selling has dried up. Now dribs and drabs.

No reason to believe it will be anything other than a boring update with FY21 guidance maintained, slower progress than expected due to Covid largely offset by cost savings. I'm hoping they may surprise us with new NED, more BePayd contracts and even a small divdend.

I think if the H1 announcement was going to be a positive one we'd have seen something by now. It's concerning we've still not seen anything

All those positive news pieces should be a given. There will never be a better time for an acquirer to pounce here. DBAY have gone very quiet.

The non-core that is for sale only had £400K revenue in 2020. It might have accounted for some losses. I hope they get a decent penny for it but can't see it being game changing unless it had a decent loss that will now be ditched.

It could however tart up the business a little and make a sale easier as any acquirer won't have to dump that part.

On all the timeliness I look at it this is still in an uptrend, for now. Volume has compressed and so has price volatility. That often proceeds a bigger move but with the unknown of the TU I can't for the life of me say if a move up or down.

There are positives to help upwards - sale of non-core element, another new NED with real relevant experience, info on one or two of the two new bePayd adoptors that were alluded to.

Downside is any increase in debt to carry them through covid, covid impact on new signings, possible lack of the positive news mentioned above.

Upside limits are in the 50's and the big one about 63p.

On the 1yr daily chart the trend will flag SELL if it goes below about 44.5p (about 10%). The weekly levels are much lower so more room downside before they are hit.

Anyones guess, toss a coin.

Lots of weak holders are now gone, so that's a positive.

I'm going to assume its Tenders Direct in that case. Either way, we're currently valued at about 1.2 x ARR which is ridiculously low.

Revenue for sale sounds small??

"Adjusted revenues were £49.2m after removing revenue relating to a non-core part of the business classified as held for sale at the year end. Refer to Note 22 for further detail."

Note 22.

"At 31 July 2020, the Group was actively progressing the sale of a non-core element of the Group’s Business Spend Management business. The Group expects the sale to be completed within 12 months of the year end."

I think revenue associated with non-core was £m's but profit contribution small to negative. It's in the thread somewhere and the results.

Overtime, given how geared they are, the debt burden should drop as revenue builds (margin improvement) but its still a drag and risky if they can't drive revenue with covid impact.

Shouldn't their SaaS margins going forward naturally lend itself to a relatively quick rate of debt reduction? The bigger Saas players are able to carry huge amounts of debt are they not? Also I seem to recall the sale of non core business was valued around £10million which would make a hefty dent.

Debt burden reduction will help share price All eyes focused on ability to service and reduce that by any sensible means.

Speculating on the trading update I think it will be along the lines of; Plan is being executed, albeit slower than expected due to Covid, FY21 targets maintained with a strong pipeline of opportunity, etc etc. It will be boring. I am concerned if there are still PE's lurking in the background looking for a takeover, or whether there's plans to reinstate a small dividend, updates on BePayd etc, new NED announcement, sale of non core business to remove a chunk of debt, news which may actually move the share price

The update had better be good as this has stalled.

Either a coiled spring (good update) or rolling over until signs of proper turnaround show through (notvdo stellar update).

I dont know which it is. Holding.

Have you seen the idc report? Proactis is literally at the very back of the pack, by quite some way.

Without a stellar trading update they will find themselves a cheap takeover target once again and it may be harder for them to avoid this time around. DBAY aren’t invested here for the fun of it, they are an aggressive acquirer. Private equity will be all over this before the economy starts to open up however I feel that a winning bid would need to satisfy Lombard Odier and they will be seeking over £1 you’d have thought.
