07/10/2020 17:21 | They changed some take-over rules a few months back. Will become a major problem with weak pound and companies abroad able to borrow cheap or even issue bonds to ECB. PHD has access to useful data, strange as that may sound, and shouldn't be allowed to have foreign majority control imho. | p1nkfish
07/10/2020 17:02 | True but we have an inept government. Can’t work a spreadsheet let alone prevent a takeover bid. | cureboy
07/10/2020 16:52 | Can't tell what's what. Proactis does have quite an important niche in UK public services. Have to wonder if UK Gov, going forward, would allow it to be anything but majority British owned. That would be a finger up Romulaks wazoo. | p1nkfish
07/10/2020 15:03 | Looks like a concerted effort to bring the price down a notch from 14:07-14:26. DBAY selling off from one entity to buy it up with another? | cureboy
07/10/2020 13:22 | No rush though. Win win, goes down they buy more at bargain price. Goes up sell their stock. | lewis winthorpe
07/10/2020 08:43 | There’ll come a time when DBAY will find it harder to accumulate in the way that they’re doing now and they will need to start paying the offer price. Can’t be many sellers left at this price. We might start to see this go in the right direction again soon. | cureboy
06/10/2020 18:47 | Dated 5th Oct, there might have chance to sell the Perfect.com domain name. Every little helps. | p1nkfish
06/10/2020 18:47 | Pitch the opening bid too low and it will alert competition. Some larger US players might want Proactis for easy access to UK public sector. I don’t see DBAY getting it any less than 2 x revenue or 6.5 x ebitda so 90p min which is well below average for a SaaS. We’ll see. | cureboy
06/10/2020 17:57 | I think with current turnover and new contracts and optimism, we could see Dbay get away with a cheap and cruel easy buy at 65-70p. Cannot see Lombard, plus Potts or other large holders selling for less than 65p! | 97peter
06/10/2020 17:43 | Game most certainly on. My £2.10 target is 99.8% toast. 55p would do me, hold quite a few. Shame. Onward. | p1nkfish
06/10/2020 17:19 | You have already stated you are an employee. You let it slip one way or another, you can't help yourself.I just wish employees on various boards would have the balls to admit it.I think there is one so far on the LSE boards that has stuck his/her head above the trench. So easy to read, and I have no doubt other employees viewing these boards know who you are through arrogance and distainful tone. | lewis winthorpe
06/10/2020 17:04 | DBAY forcing the issue. | cureboy
06/10/2020 17:03 | Dbay 14.56% now.........loading up and then some | coldspring
06/10/2020 16:28 | They will have no choice. They can propose board members and have a vote at a GM. Writing on the wall for the 2 that have just jumped. Better jump for Tomkins than be voted out. I bet BoD know DBAY have their number & know the game so no dodging having to deliver. At GM shareholders can dump BoD members henceforward so they will have to.pick acceptable candidates that LO ad DBAY approve of. Game up, wheres the money? | p1nkfish
06/10/2020 15:51 | Next we'll see Lombard/DBAY pushing for a seat on the Board that's when we'll see fireworks. Existing board members won't like it and will be difficult to see any other result than a hostile. Not what they had in mind 6 months ago when they closed down the FSP. | cureboy
06/10/2020 15:12 | They are shareholders, Aubrey certainly a decent amount. CFO needs to step-up, Sykes take some more. | p1nkfish
06/10/2020 15:03 | Give it up Lewis. I called it right, that doesn’t mean I’m an employee. You are so predictable. Of course she was window dressing, like Berenice smith before her. They don’t want an independent director who questions anything, just one who ticks a few boxes ... independent, check, female, check, subservient to Aubrey, check. As shareholders we deserve truly independent NEDs. I’ve said it before, this is a toxic board not acting in the interests of shareholders and with no real plan to lead the company to a respectable result. With a huge market opportunity being left for others to enjoy. Such a shame. | jonstrawberry
06/10/2020 14:51 | Looks abit like Deborah Meaden. | cureboy
06/10/2020 13:18 | An employee, not former, same as you JS.You might be the Proactis cleaner but you still matter. | lewis winthorpe
06/10/2020 11:46 | Cold don’t take pink personally. Reacting aggressively to opinions he doesn’t agree with is just what he does. Lewis will be on here next accusing you of being a former employee. | jonstrawberry
06/10/2020 11:19 | Tomkins only ever bought 16800 shares. Best she goes, there for window dressing only. Cold, my opinion changes as info becomes available. I hold, have added, but that never means I'm all rah-rah. I post what I see on the day. TBD. I also look at worse case, may never happen, but just imagine if there was a suspension. Highly unlikely but no guarantees. Debt went up due to sequencing of payments. I am concerned to know the cashflow position. | p1nkfish
06/10/2020 11:14 | Pink you have flipped from bullish to bearish and back again more times than I can recall here. Balance is fine but my opinion is that you have been more prone to movement than others. You have taken my earlier comment very personally and reacted in spectacularly aggressive fashion which speaks volumes for your temprament. You are clearly well researched and I applaud you for that. I am not interested in a spat. | coldspring |
