Hoovering up. Transfer of ownership at what the buyer thinks is an attractive price. If DBAY know what they are doing they are telling you what is an attractive price.

As I posted earlier there will be a webinar after the institutional presentation on BPayd in a couple of weeks. I guess that management must have some confidence in the product to make a presentation. Shares do lot look that expensive on a current year (July 2021) pe of just over 14. But I think it will take time or big news before the shares go much higher

I've said it before too. Weakest management team in the industry, BPayd a complete non starter and the lack of news on it in this release shows that more starkly than ever...and then there is the debt. Change the management and get back to running this as a procurement software business and then maybe there is a way out.

It’s amusing to see all those who used to get angry at me pointing out the weakness of this management team, now start to do the same. I mean nobody likes to say “I told you so”.... except me.

If it dilutes management you can forget it as a possibility. They would need to dig deep into pockets to avoid dilution and look at what they bought at what price. Doubt they will be on side.

News on growth is good, but the lack of progress on debt reduction is disappointing, which suggests a longer term problem - although in terms of small interest payments and £11m EBITA is not a major issue imo. The value of capital employed (debt plus equity) is £70m, which is cheap if the company is growing and reducing levels through positive cash flow - but why are we not seeing more of this EBITA in terms of positive cash flow and debt reduction? One reason may be that growth requires additional capital employed.

This is hypothetical, but a 1 for 1 rights issue would effectively remove debt and give a market cap of £70m. With turnover of £50m and growth it could attract a rating of 3x turnover - approx. £150m, or 80p.

No rush indeed and no rush for the door. Selling exhausted. Hope it manages to move up through the overhead as some exit when its more obvious that its turned round.

50k buy on the mid price just then is the answer I think.

Why do dbay have to rush? Its been 6 weeks since they last declared. Its been said before, win win for them unless this goes bust, which is never going to happen.

One thing that’s always guaranteed is the share price drops after an update, be it good, bad or indifferent. We’ll see what DBAY’s intentions are very soon.

All I would say is that bebt is cheap at minute. The flip is that its not looked on well, moreso now with covid. Also interested in how record tcv doesn't mean they beat expectations. Why not?

They carried too much debt before Covid

Debt is a 4 letter bad word now and going to get a lot worse IMO

A great deal of promise here and to a degree they have been unlucky with CV-19 timing.
