16/7/2020 17:04 | It just has to perform to expectations really. | lewis winthorpe
16/7/2020 13:46 | The people helping the price to be around here might keep it so so long everyone begs for 50p as a release. We were range bound for up to 8 months in the past with a break to the downside. Could it happen again? Should break to the upside but I'm open minded to the opposite happening and DBAY mopping up sells. The next set of news on performance can set the theme. Ball in the court of the company to pull something out of the hat. | p1nkfish
16/7/2020 11:58 | Piddly little buys though. I fully expect big money to return here now they're entering a growth phase again with huge opportunities to exploit particularly in US and German territories and a new revenue stream to boot in bePayd. ARR is key and that's up, new business is at record levels, banking facilities reset providing extra £3m capital. There were 'multiple Interested parties' from FSP no doubt one or two remain interested. Anyone buying in at this level is getting a bargain price for a multi national SaaS company with their revenues. | cureboy
16/7/2020 10:36 | The buying has started :-) | lewis winthorpe
16/7/2020 08:29 | Doesn't matter what the trigger is. The pattern suggests the result. | p1nkfish
16/7/2020 08:22 | I think there are lot of people waiting to buy given an upward signal.Given a long period of no movement. The smoke tends to reveal fire. | lewis winthorpe
16/7/2020 07:48 | P1nk I just feel that in a successful bid scenario where the chart has been for the last year becomes less relevant as the bid will be based on ARR, EBITDA and other criteria. If there’s a successful bid the price will jump up a few hundred % and that’ll be that. Chart analysis is excellent for trading indices. Hardly anyone is trading this. | cureboy
15/7/2020 23:17 | Cure, the chart could become a long period in narrow channel. Very often this results in price burst. The longer the channel and the narrower the price range the more impetus to the price on break-out. Are you suggesting a buy-out won't result in that outcome? If you do suggest it will result in a burst to the upside you are confirming the chart pattern and its outcome, | p1nkfish
15/7/2020 22:41 | A successful bid for a SaaS company will be determined by a multiple of revenue or ebitda it won’t be anything to do with the shape of the chart. | cureboy
15/7/2020 21:10 | I don't agree. | p1nkfish
15/7/2020 16:10 | Chart is irrelevant if DBAY are trying to pursue a takeover bid. | cureboy
15/7/2020 15:45 | I am not an expert on charts, but it looks to me that a large flag formation is about to break. The top line is from the high of about 60 and the lower trend line from the more recent low. It has also recently traded in a very narrow range. From memory, chart theory suggests that a break from a narrow range can be both sharp and significant. We should know soon, up I hope as a holder, but there looks to be real overhead resistance between 40 until 60. | sidam
15/7/2020 12:42 | May not be take over. DBAY also active in Wynnstay, Card Factoey etc at mo and may be a couple of others. A lot on their plate. | p1nkfish
15/7/2020 12:41 | Surprise too that this hasn't been touched by wider market forces. | lewis winthorpe
15/7/2020 12:10 | Impossible for DBAY to disguise their actions as there's very little Pi buying and we all know they're loading up at 35p and this has been going on for months, see RNS's. So the BoD are fully aware and probably engaging with them. The fact that the accumulation of 12% of the company has all been through offshore subsidiaries, where CGT is low/non existent, all points towards a private equity takeover. | cureboy
14/7/2020 23:56 | £48M of which 3.42% is Proactis - Income & Growth VCT. Appears < 3% as not in major holder list so their average must be well over 35p. | p1nkfish
14/7/2020 22:29 | Because they bought under 20p perhaps and see quicker returns elsewhere. | lewis winthorpe
14/7/2020 20:09 | When an institution is ploughing money in like Lombard and DBAY are that’s good enough for me, lots of reasons someone sells. | cureboy
14/7/2020 19:20 | Same sort of question, why do some holders want to sell huge volumes at 35p over the past 2-3 months? What do they know or see that we don't? | p1nkfish
14/7/2020 18:49 | How are DBAY buying consistently in huge volumes at 35p for 2/3 months? Must be some ‘deals’ going on here. That sort of buying should be pushing up the sp, which should be mid 40s by now. | cureboy
14/7/2020 13:01 | Not a ramp - IQG showing how to start and grow a SaaS business. Proactis similar but lower margins and heavy weight of debt. | p1nkfish
14/7/2020 09:02 | Exactly Lewis. Not impossible. | p1nkfish
14/7/2020 08:30 | Can't be risk surely if they believe in the 2-3 year strategy.Something else imho.Just out of interest, to head off a takeover - how would a merger fit?Proactis bring presence, partner brings capital. | lewis winthorpe
14/7/2020 08:24 | No director buys is interesting. Either don't want to risk it or they know something. | p1nkfish
14/7/2020 08:23 | I watched and listened very carefully and both CEO and CFO didn't dwell on debt outside of mentioning gearing early on. Hubwoo - I can't see what they can sell. TBN will remain with PHD and then what is left? A husk of a company?? PHD will need a French presence so not clear they can close any office there too. I can't see anything much they can sell and lease back to release capital and nearly everything they do is now "core" so what can they sell there. The one thing they can do is a strategic partnership in the EU and raise some capital somehow?? Helping them gain a foothold in any new EU Digital Marketplace rather than be locked out??? Alternatively any free cash from bePayd goes straight to debt payment. | p1nkfish |
