Ex dividend on 19th, this Thursday and paid out on 28th a week later. Nice.
Interim of 1.75p plus a special dividend of 4p.

Yes very good results, an excellent div and a strong looking outlook statement in their main markets:-

"We have expectations that the UK businesses will perform at least at similar levels to the first half of the year. We are looking for continued improved performance from our businesses in Asia which we believe will provide us with increased opportunities for growth in the mid to long term."

With results like this and paying a very healthy dividend, whats a stock like this doing at such a lowly rating?

Brucie Bonus an extra 4p dividend.

I didn't see that coming but not complaining.

Looks like a glitch in the system rather than a real rise!

Anyone know a reason for the rise this morning?

Solid set of results, nothing spectacular but they do underpin a spectacular rise in share price this year.

Looks as though the company going to do the decent thing and give the excess cash back to shareholders.

I'd expect 15p - 20p cash per share to be returned.

Yes, I agree nothing spectacular and ROW disappointing, but by the year end cash pile should be over £3m and something likely to be done with it.

Seemed to be a decent set of results with profits and outlook back on the upward path - I added a few more yesterday.

About time they gave us some of that cash pile back!

Results ok, interesting comment about the cash:-

"The Company continues to hold a substantial cash balance. The Board is continually assessing the most appropriate use of surplus cash generated by the Company. Historically this has focussed on developing new business lines organically and more recently on a program of share buyback. Possible acquisitions have been investigated every year but as yet, none has met the Company's stringent criteria, which include ensuring that scale of transaction should not have the potential to destabilise our continuing businesses and risk associated with acquisition should be minimal. The Board considers that cash needed to complete current growth plans is more than adequate. Accordingly, subject to trading conditions, the Company expects to continue to return cash to shareholders via its annual dividends and by other means when and if appropriate"

Aye it would be disappointing if all the cash went on acquisitions.

Prime Insight started from scratch seems to have been a success and their other new businesses in the environment sector etc offer promise.

They do say though:-

"...it is our strategy to broaden, whether by organic growth or acquisition, the recruitment service that the Group provides..."

...so might get a mix of organic and acquisitive growth.

Yes, the results more than justify the SP, agree re use of cash, hope management don't decide to splurge it on acquisitions. I would prefer them to run and grow the business from the inside, they seem good at that.

A good set of results and the current year should be better.

I wonder what they'll do with all the cash?....25p a share now and growing.

A special div would be nice.
