10/6/2005 19:58 | you an employee or summat? | amberspyglass
10/6/2005 06:18 | Well done you found the £8 (around which i sold to fund my original purchases and still leave me a healthy balace for free) now go a little further back and you will see why it paid off handsomely for me. In the menatime i have picked up regular dividends yielding c 6% over the time period. Thus i am quite happy thanks.
I am not going into further detail about why i have bought prp at this time except to say that following this person and their actions has benefitted me in the past. | gazzastrip
10/6/2005 05:56 | checking back, the PSD share price was £8.00 about five years ago, £4.00 about 3/4 years ago, just over £2.40 now. 5 years would seem far enough back to go. is there any particular track record (apart from having a job) that the new management have that gives confidence? i see them giving themselves 0p share options on 10% of the company, with no indication as to what they expect to do to justify that. | amberspyglass
09/6/2005 20:59 | if you check back far enough you will see that psd has indeed paid returns to shareholders and not only in the form of dividends. i am not going to go into detail about which particular appointment makes me feel optomistic or what they are likely to do for the company. I have bought and i am happy to do so. When funds allow and as long as the share price doesnt spike in the meantime,i will buy more. | gazzastrip
09/6/2005 19:28 | as a long term PSD holder you would have lost half your money? why would PSD inspire you with confidance? the new CEO appears never to have run a commercial company - advising and funding acquisitions is entirely different to doing them - and the market response to their reward of 10% of the company for something which they appear not to be prepared to tell the shareholders about is for the share price to drop to 75% of the NAV. amazing that an "investment banker" would be so insensitive to shareholders - appalling start IMHO. | amberspyglass
09/6/2005 07:20 | Managed to get some of these at under 6p over the last week and now await news and upwards share price movement.
As a long term PSD holder i am confident there is a healthy upside on prime people. This is based on recent appointments at the company, director purchases and the healthy cash position built up. Word is they are looking for investment opportunities,so news should filter out over the rest of this year. | gazzastrip
30/5/2005 07:53 | pity the directors have got equity without explaining why | amberspyglass
17/5/2005 07:28 | Got some (eventually) | tonyx
16/5/2005 19:17 | Thanks topvest,
Hmmmm..thats got me interested and will look into them further once i get a nice cold one from the fridge!( and some munchies)
BTW do you still have your BDT? Ive got an nice slug of them now-bought them between 6.75-8.25p after selling my original lot over 10p on that crazy day they were 100% up. | tonyx
16/5/2005 19:01 | 7.6p cash + two interests in trading businesses at the prelims. Directors look to have got a good deal getting in at 6p imo. Not quite as good as the 4.6p I paid though! All depends on what they use this vehicle for. With todays announcements looks like they have some plans. | topvest
16/5/2005 18:46 | Hi topvest,
Whats the NAV here? | tonyx
16/5/2005 18:38 | Interesting announcements today indeed. The overhang has been dealt with through the directors adding significant shares. No PSD as a shareholder must be good news as that was the past for this company. It now looks very interesting imho. Priced at a discount to estimated NAV. | topvest
16/5/2005 18:21 | Big rise tomorrow... at least 50% | amberspyglass
16/5/2005 16:09 | You may be right Skyracer. However, they do say "The strategy of the Company is to create shareholder value by developing and broadening the activities of the business, initially through acquisition." So they are aiming to be bigger and they have got quite a bit of cash to spend - more than the market cap of the company. It certainly makes a change to have 3 RNS's in one day, but it may be a while before that happens here again.

16/5/2005 14:57 | Prelude to management buyout? I would say that this certainly constitutes a concerted action by this group of related shareholders taking their combined shareholding to >30% and requires a bid for the remainder of the shares. Although they dont have to offer more than 6p IMO it would take 8p to gain 75% however, which would be a fair offer. Actually makes sense, whats the point in this tiny company bearing the cost of being quoted. | skyracer
25/3/2005 08:32 | I am not sure it will be taken private. The Chairman has good contacts at WH Ireland. This is a tasty shell to reverse something into at 7p. Much better than many higher priced shells with less cash. There is more value to holders with a good deal. In the meantime, they can break-even and so it's just a waiting game. | topvest
25/3/2005 08:14 | maybe there is suspicion it will be taken private? | amberspyglass
18/3/2005 16:44 | does ne one know of ne another company worth more than its share price in cash | jamesgkenny
02/3/2005 12:54 | Presently you can buy 25k at 6.7p which is a 12% discount to cash. | skyracer
01/3/2005 17:45 | Results out tomorrow good luck everyone. | dealit
27/2/2005 09:52 | We could have some news of a deal with the results. Let's hope so anyway! | topvest
27/2/2005 09:42 | No news since last September saying that PRP had moved into profit.
I have prelim results out on the 5th of March, can anyone out there confirm this date and does anyone have any news.
Someone must have confidence to spend £1722 so close to the results with no news whatsoever?
