18/3/2010 09:00 | Prime People is now primed for a recovery in 2010 and beyond
Bought a few recently

18/3/2010 08:55 | Well they say every dog has its day....waited so long for a bit of good news
...unless I'm "barking" mad...looks as though the company's prospects may well have turned a corner | jeff h
23/10/2009 12:14 | yes, but why? | puffin tickler
23/10/2009 11:44 | looks cheap . up 40% so far. | tomboyb
03/5/2009 15:31 | this one looks like the worst is over, finals won't be all that but sure that is all priced in. brokers already priced in the lower 09 earnings. think worth a 3 month play | empirestate
21/11/2008 11:47 | Prudent to drop dividend. Agree with this. Cant tell where PRP is going to go now but have accepted that second half eps will probably be zero. Low debt, cash in bank, competent mangement imo, PRP should probably survive the recession. But they must ruthlessly cut admin expenses immediately as necessary, otherwise the cash will disappear. At some point PRP should become a screaming BUY. But not yet. Seems long time since 100+p..... | skyracer
24/6/2008 08:19 | IC says Good Value. Highlights overseas offices. | mctmct
16/6/2008 18:08 | I thought the results were decent as well...and the outlook.
The overseas fee earners have already grown by over 25% since 31/3/08.
I'd expect the overseas contribution to be more than 1/3 of NFI in 2009.
...this of course all being organic growth.
XD on Wed for a 2.4p Final Dividend.
Latest Forecast from Arbuthnot 10/6/08 ( with a Buy rec):-
Y/E 31/3/09 Pre Tax £2.54m EPS 13.27p Div 4.00p
Y/E 31/3/10 Pre Tax £2.84m EPS 14.83p Div 4.25p
...the company will have a write up in this weeks IC. | jeff h
06/6/2008 09:10 | seem decent results to me. Obviously the outlook isnt fantastic but it could be much worse. Particularly pleasing to see a reduction in admin expenses to £5,481,000 from £6,044,000 in H1. Around £8m market cap seems cheap to me. I dont hold but am tempted. | wilco99
30/3/2008 12:42 | Must be a chance that Peter Hearn will want to merge this with OPD where
he's the largest shareholder and looks unlikely to succeed in taking over
Imprint....so buying PRP as a Plan B here a possibilty.
I added last week most recruiters seem to be coming out with good figures
and more importantly decent outlook statements. | jeff h
02/2/2008 09:04 | This is certainly getting hammered now. Glad I sold last year. May look again later in the year. Fundamentally this is a sound business, but the tide is going out! | topvest
01/2/2008 23:31 | Skyracer - yes I certainly do pick em...which is why I had to handover my
annual cheque for CGT on Monday....gains on stocks such as AMU (up 20% today)
means that I'll be paying CGT next year as well.
Sounds as though you've not forgiven me for pointing out several years ago
that you didn't understand the difference between the P&L a/c & Balance Sheet
when you were waffling on about "losses on buybacks" (eh?) and "disasterous
buybacks" regarding Safeland....which subsequently bagged for me.
The only other thread that I recall you on that I've had any involvement in
was Fulmar which you reckoned would have a profits warning but didn't and
gave me a good gain and was eventually taken over.
So by all means have your view on the company and disclose any news you have on Prime People to support an investment stance... but leave sour grapes and gloating to bitter and twisted individuals. | jeff h
30/1/2008 16:26 | Big knockdown here today - wondered whether some of the drop off today had something to do with teh duplicate RNS released after hours last night refering to the release "Prime People sells stake in Cameron Kennedy" which was a duplicat to that on 02/05/2006.
I see they've fixed it today - but was definately flagged up last night when I checked. | tole
07/12/2007 08:12 | IC article today............. | santangello
14/11/2007 10:04 | Looks like we need to get rid of this persistent seller before we'll move ? | santangello
11/10/2007 07:50 | Bit more news coming out now.
The co. put a July full year results presentation on the website.
The trading update may have been prompted by Arbuthnot's first forecast
dated 9/10/07 ie the day before the RNS:-
Y/E 31/3/08 Pre Tax £2.28m EPS 12.43p Div 3.75p
Y/E 31/3/09 Pre Tax £2.54m EPS 13.84p Div 4.00p
....given that £2.01m was made last year and included nearly £200k of
start up costs then they don't look realistic given the stong trading statement.
I'd expect Arbuthnot to upgrade these either now following the trading
update or when the Interims are published in November. | jeff h
10/10/2007 14:59 | Thanks Jeff | mikephare
10/10/2007 08:02 | Mike...I don't think any exist...I did write to the FD about this a few
weeks back but he didn't reply!
They seem to have changed to Arbuthnot, so presumably they'll issue a
research note fairly soon. | jeff h
10/10/2007 07:52 | Jeff H,
Am looking at this at present. Can you point me to any useful posts, broker's reports, historical info etc., on this company?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

17/7/2007 20:10 | I sold mine a few weeks back as thought there was more downside risk than upside and I had made a good profit. Trading looks strong though - good statement today, | topvest
17/7/2007 07:18 | My view seemingly proved correct!
For the current year I'd expect them to make £2.7 - £2.8m with EPS of
about 16p.
Fair value about £1.80 I reckon | jeff h
13/7/2007 08:20 | Surprisingly all quiet here.
I've been buying on the basis that business in the UK still seems strong
and there's growth from overseas.
AGM update next Tuesday I believe. | jeff h
13/6/2007 21:02 | Seems people have lost interest in this? Results not good enough then judging by the share price But they seem perfectly respectable to me. Guess it's the fact that they're linked to the property sector, but they don't think there's any problem in the next 12 months at least. | deadly
