Earlier in the week? Advfn today is showing some meaty sales at 225p.

Au contraire Lomax! I loaded up this week with more at 238p region while that was available (and still is of course).

Some semi-decent offloading going on, anyone want to 'fess up'? They certainly cannot relate to the recent Director share sales as they all went through at par.

There will be a lot of focus on US plan growth numbers, Invesco's recent forecasts should have provided some assurance to those who bought in the Director's share sale.

RNS holding out

10% holding.

440,000 of these shares are held for a unit trust operated
by Marlborough Fund Managers Ltd, for whom Hargreave
Hale Ltd manages the investments on a discretionary
basis. The remaining shares are held on behalf of other
discretionary clients.

Spread appears to be back, wonder if yesterday's tightening was a blip

I'm surprised the spread has tightened so much and the share price not gone up further. Perhaps not all of the shares sold by the directors have gone directly to institutions but some onto the open market to increase liquidity. Or the institutions only ever planned on holding a subset of the shares and selling a few to increase liquidity:

'Following interest in the Company from a number of institutional investors, and with the aim of increasing the liquidity of the Company's shares'

Ok thanks sounds reasonable.

I don't think they have huge competition (hence the big land grab) apart from smaller vets who have their own inhouse plans and personally think the barriers to entry will be pretty high. Most vets won't be interested in saving a few quid when they already have increased sales and pet visits and cashflow cos of these pet plans. The wholesalers are already onboard cos of huge increased volumes.

I'd think there's more a chance of PVG getting taken over if they get any kind of monopoly due to their low market cap even if they doubled/tripled from here .

What I dont know is what competition they have and what are the barriers to entry?

Thanks, nurdin. I'll try and stop buying but I'm struggling to get my head around a measly £33 million valuation for what seems a huge opportunity in the US.

An interesting stock mitie, thanks.Havent looked at all the details yet but seems to me it is set to have stonking top line growth going forward.Meaningful profits are a bit far away but I know from experience that market is generally sanguine about short term profits in growth stocks, as long as revenues are accelerating, which they are in this case.

The share price has shot up quite a bit (presumably after the announcement of entry into the US market) so guess I will have to bide my time to get a decent entry price. So stop buying until I have ! :o)

Addendum : I note that the stock is capitalised at just 3.6x 2018 forecast revenues. That is cheap imo.The forecast will no doubt be revised upwards as the business gains traction, specially in the USA .

Yep if no updates then the shares will be fed into the market at around 237 making the institutions 5% and increasing liquidity. Not good for existing holders over short term. But it puts a firm downside at 225 so those who have been in for reasonable time will be comfortable that they don't have to sell their holding to secure profit as the 225 effectively does this. Hope above makes sense. I still expect an update this week , I wonder if institutions had an idea of total sales to date in states prior to investing as it's so important to the future of the business and justification of £2.25 per share, it would be nice if we were privy to this too.

Yes, bones, clearly a big seller at 2.40. I'd imagine, as you suggest, there will be some sellers from the placing to get through before we can move up in the absence of news.

Someone is unloading at 5k a clip at 240p, maybe a new 225p investor skimming off the top perhaps? Whatever the case, once 240p goes, it could be plain sailing up.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Gervais Williams at Milton taking a decent position as the II.

Quite happy with the director sales. Its totally normal to sell to satisfy institutional demand at this early stage of the cycle for such an illiquid stock.

On that note , have added 2 x 10k this am at around 239p.

Yes Directors shares have gone directly to institutions and are not in the market to be bought.

Now some research on my 7dig that I think will do extremely well like here based on the same criteria. Fixed overheads, 90% margins, fast growth and recurring revenues.
