Talk of rights issue just doom mongering again! At $63 a barrel they're making what $46 a barrel on 90k boepd? That's a lot of cash a day! If they were strapped or under pressure the bonds wouldn't be trading at face value!

I didn't say there will never be a rights issue. The rubbish I was referring to was the rather libellous comparison to Afren where the CEO and CFO were convicted of fraud.

In fact a placing that enables Sea Lion might be on cards, but it should be accretive to shareholders because they'd be choosing to do it to progress the project and getting SL to first oil would add so much value to the company.

PMO is in complete disconnect to all it's peers.....so something is going on...and it won't be good for private investors.....get the KY ready

The price action does suggest a rights issue is coming but it doesn’t make sense unless that’s the only way they can progress Sea Lion? With the cash flow from current production we can’t be anywhere near breaching banking covenants can we? The price now is getting very tempting but things just don’t smell right...

Afren was a FTSE 350 company. See what happened to them?

as with nearly all British mgt, if not all, and our MPs et al....bereft of ideas and inept in the face of impending doom

I think Enterprise Value is better way to look at value than market cap. Because anyone who buys pmo takes on net debt as well as the equity.

So the value of the company hasn't halved and doesnt need to double to get us back to 140p.

More importantly, I think the share price SHOULD be rising every month as the nebt decreases (and therefore EV) decreases every month.

Because currently the Enterprise Value that PMO could theoretically be snapped up for (market cap + net debt), is falling rapidly as BOTH net and market cap are decreasing.

I just think management need to concentrate on keeping production at 90k+ and the opex where they have guided to, then give clear evidence of debt reduction at least every quarter or even more regularly as and when they receive cash for any previous asset sales etc

Assuming good Zama drill maybe some options around that if needed. I think the share price really doesn't reflect the possible value here or at least I hope so.

it's a shame that it's unattractive for a suitor, as I'd take 120-130p now...and get into something more stable, and less open to blatant manipulation, without challenge...

You are obviously joking, but a rights that could reduce our debt may well stop the shorters from attacking the stock.

probably going to finish us off now with a highly discounted rights....
