Marv. With the Dow down 500 and poo down 7% anybody long on oil, myself included is going to suffer. What I say when the markets are closed won't make a blind bit of difference on a ftse 250

Thankyou, peeps are suffering on here and don't really want a bet on how low she can go and inflict more pain; but can see your point and well done for selling out above £1.20.

For once I broke my golden rule and held rather than acted upon my stop loss; lesson learned, got sucked into the hype and for once assumed Jabba had learned by his mistakes and improved lol.

Just being realistic with the Dow down 500. Ok, marv, perhaps 102p then?

To be honest ive been thinking about it for a while, seeing as most of the figures you have quoted have been fairly closely linked to the 42p warrant price.

63p is 1.5x warrant price, and the 85p from which PMO was supposedly to bounce hard (hahaha!) is about 2x

You may have heard things concerning this, or you maybe just riding the coat tails of a position thats gone stupendously in your favour.

Either way, if PMO does sink to the levels you are guessing at, it will be damning indictment of the shorting scum that have infested PMO for the last few years.

Ironic that if true, another component of the debt refinancing will have been used against the company. Bravo Mr.Durrant!

They (Saudis) tried smashing the price a few years ago and wiped out half of their cash reserves. A lesson hard learned. Fracking now stronger than ever. They need to cut and hope the frackers are approaching their peak.

Marvin - that's exactly what they did a few years ago. It didn't work then and unless they flooded the market for about 5-years - destroying their own economies in the process - it won't work now. Better to limit production and get a better return.

Oil picking up again, touch wood.

Will say it again. The Arabs should flood the market with oil and crash the oil price to $30 and then we can all watch as every last one of the Fracking mines go bust due to debt. Hardly any are breaking even as we speak so its only a matter of time before they start to go bust anyway.

I wonder what part (if any) the outstanding warrants have had to play in this collapse?

I realise that there are only c55m left, but in terms of actual shares, published shorts have increased by far less than that, and weve all seen the damage theyve done.

I dont profess to understand the mechanics of it all, but surely knowing that you can lay your grubby hands on stock at 42p, could assist in the shorting of shares down from £1+ ?

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this is all one big hedge fund stitch up to crash the oil price under the watchful eye of DT

I still dont figure how this can be good for the US shale industry, given the fields they discover tend to be shorter life, and thus they constantly need new cash to generate new finds
