odds are we will get 65-70 kbpd at this rate. And a premium to brent, not sure how that works. And in March FY results, we will see the long awaited Catcher reserves upgrade, my guess is on 110 mn.

Navion Oslo departing Catcher today hopefully with 500k plus barrels of crude onboard.

......

The first export cargo of Catcher oil of approximately 500,000 barrels was lifted yesterday.

You even got the 500k barrels correct !

When there was no AIS data available in the day or two leading upto the offload, I'd love to know how you knew an offload was in progress ?

Great update though. Will be looking to take a long position come 8am providing its not too dear to do so.

Best of Luck to all.

FPSO capacity exceeded with 4 wells, nice.

The plateau will last far longer than modeled (bearing in mind at the drilling stage they did say most if not all production wells exceeded expectations).

And might squeeze a bit more than 60k through the process once optimised & a debottlenecking exercise has been completed.

Looking good here. Any indication from the company of a corporate commitment to attack PMO's debt pile will see this explode

I was guessing the RNS would be released because the timing fitted in with the offload, the news would have to have been released because the news is price sensitive.

Great operational update this morning.

Looks like a great buy in price and just before the RNS is released in the morning telling us all about the Catcher offload.

Seny, how did you know an RNS would be out today ? Enquest did not release an RNS when Kraken offloaded for the first time yet you knew a PMO RNS would be out today.

I take it you are privvy to inside information ?

Premier is pleased to provide the following update on its operated Catcher Area development, which was successfully brought on-stream on 23 December 2017.

The first export cargo of Catcher oil of approximately 500,000 barrels was lifted yesterday, earlier than anticipated, and has been sold at a premium to Brent. The second cargo, which is scheduled for the third week of February, has also been sold at a similar premium to Brent.

To date, four production wells - two from the Catcher field and two from the Varadero field - have been brought online. Initial rates from these four producers totalled in excess of 60 kbopd and, as planned, these wells are being deliberately constrained at an average of 20 kbopd whilst final commissioning of the gas processing modules on the FPSO is completed.

Performance of the BW Catcher FPSO has been excellent with high operational uptime. Commissioning of the water injection system has been completed. Gas commissioning is progressing well with the gas import/export pipeline now fully open to the SEGAL pipeline and booster compression test runs successfully concluded. The next stages of gas treatment and export compression commissioning will now follow with the switch to fuel gas for the main power generation and ancillary boilers set to commence this week. Once the gas systems, including gas export, are fully available, production will be brought on-stream from the Burgman field and full production from the Catcher Area is planned to increase to 60 kbopd. This remains on schedule for Q2 2018.

AIS around Catcher has just come back on... The "Navion" Oslo is now well on it's way to Slagen in Norway...
The draft has increased from 8.7m to 12.8m whilst it's been offline. This represents at least 320,000 bbl (and possibly more depending on any ballast unloaded).

Steve, I'd agree about swapping newly acquired shares with closing shorts.

Whilst POO at $70 is great, xr has moved hugely since Xmas, Dollar very weak was 1.35 now over 1.40 in last three weeks.

Still no sign of the Oslo anywhere. The AIS coverage in the Catcher area has always been a bit sporadic. There are no permanent AIS stations around there, and coverage is by whichever of the Esvagt vessels are in he area - the most recent of which was the "Chastine", that was on its way back to Aberdeen as the Oslo was leaving Aberdeen. I suspect it was asked to leave the area to keep us all guessing.

Good news on the shorts.. so now just 3.46% disclosed over 0.5% (plus another 0.52% total from the 4 that have dropped off the list in the past few days, and which could by now be even less). Stock on loan figures for Jan should be available on about the 5th Feb, but since it'll be for Jan average, they'll be highly influenced by the first half of this month, and also the much larger number of shares (soon to be) in issue will drop it by another 1/3rd or so.

I'm assuming that if a CBH is short, then it can simply hand over it newly converted shares to repay the short without anything hitting the market.. But still some highly suspect trading figures being reported.

At least with oil hitting $70 again, we should soon get back to a more realistic share price..

5% is again a large reduction and positive.

But don't forget who encouraged this and turned a blind eye. Oink Oink ;@)

So Polygon have also mysteriously bought 33 million shares without any trade of that size showing?

Those accomodating MM's will have to work those through now

They tried to do a bit of catch up on the walk down with that 93.3p UT

Still, better than it was looking when the machine was on full tilt

Is this the pattern now then? 2-3p rise in the morning then sell off by machine?

When POO popped through $70 at about 10 to 4 it triggered some buys here that made the auto sell bot splutter and beep.

I'd imagine there was some smoke coming out the back of it as all its' algos got messed up.

Still busy trying to wrestle back control here and get itself back 'online'

Looks like a great buy in price and just before the RNS is released in the morning telling us all about the Catcher offload.

There must be a satellite black spot in the Catcher area because none of the ships are showing and even the Ensco 100 Jack up which is a stones throw away from the Catcher isn't shown.

Anyone know where the Navion Oslo will head to offload?

I did look at scheduled vessel arrivals into Rotterdam but its not going there in the next couple days.
